These shelves are incredibly hard to hang. I had to do it myself, and it took 4 days. They are still not even, and I put them too close together. I Can't stand books up in them which is what I bought them for. If you don't have a do-it-yourselfer around, either don't buy them or hire a handyman. These are real wood. The only negative is that they’re stained but have no clear coat. For the price, I feel that should be included. I added a coat of polyurethane on each side myself and now they’re perfect.
