This stuff is fantastic. No more shower mats or straps which get dirty and cause mold. This stuff feels good on the feet and eliminates slippage. And, can barely tell anything is there.

I bought this product to use on my deck stairs. It was easy to mix with stain and easy to apply. Provides good traction; even when stairs are wet. Much easier for my older dog to navigate stairs too.

I am pretty impressed with how well this stuff works. I first tried to broadcast it onto the paint afterwards like some reviewers suggested, but found it too hard to get even. So my advice would be to mix it with your paint in small batches so you can stir it alot to get even grit distribution. I wanted a really rough surface so I rolled it on and that worked well for my application. Much nicer than using sand, imo. I went a bit radical and because I wan't very concerned with the appearance of my final surface (max grip was more important) and I actually did a second coat where I broadcast a little extra grit onto fresh wet paint and then rolled that in. So it wasn't as even as one would usually want, but the amount of grip is pretty amazing. I bought in from Amazon and pretty pricey for such a small amount, but if you can find it locally it is far cheaper because the free shipping is not built into the price.     • Worked wonderfully for our shed floor.
Added the entire can to about a pint of primer I found in the garage to pain my storage shed floor. The floor was plain plywood and I wanted some measure of moisture protection but also slip and fall protection. The result is a great gritty feel, not too rocky at all. Really subtle but it works.

This was easy to use with paint and I applied it on the steps and 1st part of my porch as the rain would often make these areas slick and people would slip. The only thing I don't like is you can see it. I was often asked what damaged my porch! However, the safety of others is more important to me and it provides a very abrasive finish which prevents anyone from slipping on the surface.
