Got these to tint/colour resin and they are PERFECT. The inks are extremely pigmented and don't seem to dilute my resin or cause cure inhibition at all when used in small quantities. Will warn that they WILL stain things and will definitely briefly stain your skin if some gets on your hands. This is my second Piñata "exciter pack" and I like these colors just as much as the first set I bought. The inks work very well in resin and it only takes a little bit of the ink to get a good deep color. The bottles are very easy to use and it's easy to control the amount of ink being dispersed. I painted the metallic colors (brass, copper) onto the resin ornaments for accents and the color is shiny and bright. I'm always pleased with the quality of the Piñata inks by Jacquard. ... show more

Everything about Jacquard's Pinata Alcohol Ink Accent Color Exciter pack (pack#2) is absolutely amazing. As usual the high quality of the inks I have come to expect from JACQUARD is the best yet. Eight new colors (Blanco is included in both packs) including 3 new metallics: pink, coral, golden yellow, teal, blue- violet, pearl, copper, and brass. They really are the perfect accent to the original colors providing tones that are very concentrated so when used with their Claro Extender they are brilliant and the half ounce bottles last a very long time. I am thrilled, I make jewelry using the inks on glass and until now had been mixing my own accents. The Teal is my absolute favorite and the Pearl gives any combination of colors an extra sparkle and depth. The big surprise was the Copper; it is so perfect it looks like rose gold when I use it. I have been experimenting with the colors so far, so I have included pics of peices I made before I purchased the accents. As soon as I have a few finished peices I will update and post them. Better quality imo than the more expensive Ranger inks. I would recommend the JACQUARD Alcohol Inks to anyone interested in working with alcohol ink. ... show more

    • Gorgeous ink...just wish the bottles would stop arriving clogged
In terms of color, this is the richest, deepest I have seen. It's BEAUTIFUL. I do wish the manufacturer would make it so that fewer bottles clog, though. In my first set, a year ago, one bottle never worked. In this most recent purchase (June 2021), THREE bottles *arrived* clogged! It's a lot of money to pay for wonderful ink I can't get out of the bottle. Overall, an excellent brand of ink, and one I suspect I will continue using for a very long time. ... show more

We haven't tried any other brands so I don't know how common this is, but we used the inks to color resin dice. The entire project continues to be a learn as you go kind of thing. One thing we learned is if you drip the ink onto your resin to let it bleed in, the area where the ink is doesn't blend well with the resin and the resin doesn't ever fully cure in that spot. Not sure that is the inks fault, but disappointing just the same. ... show more

When opening the package, I noticed that it had a smell. When taking them out of package, it seemed like they might have leaked on packaging. I also noticed that a few bottles looked clear or light turquoise color on top.
