This rug was so bad, we couldn't believe it was the rug that was in the picture. It arrived with a "How to Care for Your Unique Loom Rug". That is exactly what it was. A loom rug with about 1/2" space between each carpet thread. Terrible. And it smelled like chemical. It was delivered in a thin clear plastic that we opened with our fingers. The creases where it was folded into a square seemed like they would never ever straighten out and it had "parts" where the folds were. Absolutely the worst rug I have ever seen. This is false advertising. To return the rug, we had to find a box large enough to fit the rug but small enough to ship it. And, I had to pay OVER $$100.00 to mail it back! Crazy! Cons this carpet came folded, not rolled, which left two deep creases running the long way. There was a strong 'chemically' smell, and I asked my family what they thought. They said it smelled like a new carpet. After a few days, the scent is more tolerable. And the backing is white. I can see it. I wish they had used black support for the black rug. Pros feel silky and light. I like thin hairs because I can vacuum them out when stuff drops. The size is correct and was not shortchanged in measurement. For the price, this is the best.
