This is cute but man is it impossible to get back to the original set up. All of the stickers except for the main face part are almost the same, so there is no point even trying to get it back to the starting spot.

Not sure when Rubik's cubes made a comeback as a popular toy, but my 7-year-old daughter kept asking for one. She's also really into 'Spider Man and Friends' on Disney+ so this was very well received. I'm not sure she completely understands how to do it but she does like to fidget with it. I like this spidey rubik's cube but oh boy is is more difficult to solve than the standard six-colored version. It seems well made, comes with a stand to display it, and works really well as a conversation starter! I thought it would be good for the kids, and though they like it, I'm not sure we'll ever get it back to the original solved state! Of course, I once thought that about the original rubik's cube too. I'm old enough to remember when the original 3x3 Rubik's Cube took the world by storm. I had one as a kid and never figured out how to solve it. I could get two sides. Now there are kids who can solve the whole puzzle in eight seconds or something. Anyway, I was really interested to see this and got it to introduce my son to the joys of Rubik's Cubing. He loves Spider Man and puzzles. He's a bit young for this now, so . . . I guess I'll just have to mess around with it until he's ready, haha. Maybe this time around, with a little help from my Internet friends, I'll even figure out how to solve it! As for the Cube itself, it looks great in the Spider Man motif, and when placed on the display body and stand. So, even though my son isn't ready to solve, he loves it as a decoration in his room. The good thing, too, is that if you can only solve one or two sides (me - for now!) you're still good to make and display the Spider Man. Very cool, indeed. ... show more
