    • Speed cube with magnets is the way to go.
Color: New Version: Rubik's Magnetic Speed Cube
Don't settle for less. The original is cheaper but it is a real turn off because it is so stiff. And there is a speed cube version without magnets but it is super sloppy. Get this one and you have a toy that is precise and a joy to play with.

My husband loved it as did the friends who also played with it. It is well made. But it is difficult to get the colors to show up and then they quickly change back to black. If you look carefully, you can make an educated guess about the color for most squares. But it is a challenge.
