  • So much fun!
I got this for our business to wear during parades and promotions and it was AMAZING! I am 5'9 and there was more than enough room in this for me. First the cons: it takes awhile to inflate, the head wants to look up so I spent the whole parade holding the bottom of the head down so I could see, you can only see right in front of so you need a guide or someone telling you if there is a hole or curb. Now onto the pros: it is very spacious and airflow was great especially in the sun walking down Main street in July. It is easy to move in and turn, I ran all over the parade and bent down to let the kids pet the nose, everything moves well and held up great. Everyone loved seeing a triceratops since the trex is always what people see. It is cute and didn't scare the kids. I am very happy with this purchase and can not wait till I get to wear it again. ... show more

  • Love the Triceratops but it is HUUUUGE
First the pros: 1.) This costume is EPIC! As realistic as I imagine an inflatable dinosaur could be. The size and quality really make an impact. 2.) Everyone who saw me in this during my two trial runs LOVED it and rushed to take pictures. They cracked up watching me lumber around in it. 3.) Small children were awed by it, but not afraid. The Cons: 1.) It's BIG. Like, big Big BIG! 2.) I had to hold the head in place under the neck so that I could kind of keep the viewing window in a decent spot; when I walked the head wanted to blow backward a bit which made for a great dinosaur-like motion but left me blind. 3.) I had NO peripheral vision or any way to see where I was walking. "Okay, I know there's a curb up ahead, but I can't see down when my feet get to it. Am I there yet? How about now?" My kids had to direct me as I moved around outside for a nighttime trial run. I ended up returning the triceratops for safety reasons. I wasn't confident of my ability to shepherd the kids around trick or treating when I couldn't see where I was going. However, if you need this for an office party (in a LARGE location with an open layout) or a kids birthday party outside, this would definitely amuse and impress. I kind of hated to send it back because it was so cool. ... show more

  • It gets hot in here
This costume is massive!!! So prepare for that. Since it is so massive, the fans it comes with take awhile to get it filled up. If you have some type of leafblower or pump, use it to hasten the prep time. We used this for my kids dino party and everyone had a blast when it came out. Just be wary that the costume is way larger than the t-rex counter part. I cannot stress how massive this thing is. ... show more

  • Triceratops for the WIN
This costume is massive and I loved that about it. I hardly fit through a doorway when in it and had a really hard time turning around in small spaces. Sitting while inflated was difficult to impossible so be prepared to stand. You need assistance getting it zipped but all the inflatable costumes do, the fans worked well and the batteries really seemed to last a long time. The back end of the costume has so much personality when you walk that people assumed more than one person was inside controlling it. I'm 5'4 and I can't imagine anyone shorter being able to wear it successfully, I feel ideal height for the person inside would probably be about 5'8. Overall this costume didn't disappoint. I wore it on a high school campus and trick or treating with my toddlers (I needed an attendant for my kids because visibility was really difficult as there are MANY blind spots). I had the best time in this costume!!! ... show more

  • Great costume!
Fits 5'-4" and probably below 6'-0". It's very big in size, the tail is about 6'-0" behind the head area. Comes with 2 fans that work well. The zipper is in the back, so assistance is needed to zipper up. The head band is a little odd to figure out. We used a baseball cap and attached the head band to it. ... show more

  • EPIC COSTUME MUST HAVE FOR DINO FAMILY
I love this costume it’s awesome and very massive. It has a head band that wraps around your head so the Dino head stays in place instead of drooping. I sweat very easily so for me it was pretty hot in there. It has two fans on each side so it takes 8AA battery’s And the battery packs go hooked onto your pants. It never died on me and I was out in this costume for over an hour. The reason I gave it one less star was because the back feet on the Dino wouldn’t stay blown up and just looked like they were dragging behind me ... show more

  • I Made So Many People Happy With This
I was on the fence about getting this costume for Halloween, it was a lot of money for a college student to drop on a simple joke, but I am glad I did. I spent the days up until Halloween walking around campus in this larger than life costume and it was awesome. From randomly charging at people recording my excursions to simply buying stuff at the on-campus market in costume, it was so nice to just see people smile. I went into the library a few times in this and it honestly made so many of the people working there happy, even the adult staff who I worried would tell me off for being a distraction. Hell, I met my school's President because of the costume. We took pictures and everything! (They said it would go up on the campus instagram but I never saw it). I had a blast just going around in costume doing mundane things and making other people's day. In turn, I suggest others do the same, just walk around at random times in public with your costume on and make someone's day. It is so much fun and so rewarding when you see someone smile as you make their day. ... show more

  • so much fun
We are having so much fun with our Triceratops and TRex friends and it isn't even Halloween yet. We dropped in on some friends, family and even a child's birthday party. The costumes are big but manageable. The dual inflating fans work well and we haven't changed the batteries yet. Inflation only takes about 4-5 minutes. I rigged a piece of string on the zipper pull so I could get myself out of the Triceratops because the zipper is in the back and it is on the outside of the costume. Seeing out of the one "window" is a bit difficult; almost wish there were another view area a bit lower to see the ground. I just picked my feet up and walked in a "monster-like" fashion. When we're done with them, they fold-up easily back into the original bag. So glad I purchased these! ... show more
