  • Don't make a wookie mistake! Just buy it!
Style: Star Wars Supreme Edition Costume
After seeing mixed reviews, I was a little worried. The product dropped to $88. I couldn't pass that up. I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up. First, the comments about quality are no longer a concern. The suit itself is well-made. The buttons on the back will need reinforcing. But that's a small task. As others have noted, the mask is rather large. Some have suggested wearing a hat underneath. I found that lacked the support necessary. However, an old military surplus Kevlar underneath works amazing. It makes the dome fit perfect in lines up the eyes. Visibility is still an issue, but only because of the size of the eye holes. I will try to find a workaround and then update my review after that. If you are on the fence about buying this, just take the plunge. You won't be disappointed. The only problem I now have, is I have the desire to wear this everywhere I go. ... show more

  • Great suit
Style: Star Wars Supreme Edition Costume
Very nicely done, very real from afar, from up close, the mask needs some work and the fangs should be a bit different... more real maybe, the hair is incredible but few, there are some bald spots and chewy never got to being that old, the bag is very realistic from afar as well up close is's very cheap made of latex needs a lot of work. The mask is latex and fits very loose on a normal head, it has to be fixed from the inside, maybe add a few more things in it, will see if I can post some pics after I fix it, now all in all a great suit not for party but more like for conventions or some show, it gets very hot inside after a few minutes, I had a friend that's 1.80 mts and it fits a bit loose, with another friend that measures 2mts exactly it fitted just right. ... show more

  • Only looks good in picture
Style: Star Wars Supreme Edition Costume
I purchased this rather expensive costume as a makeshift Bigfoot costume for some spoof videos. I will say it looks incredible, but that's all it's got going. The build quality is pretty crappy, with the back buttons falling off the first time it was worn. The costume buttons up the back, and the wearer requires help to get in and out of it. Most disappointing is the build of the mask. There is no inner frame to help the mask keep its shape, and it is impossible to see out of. You can't wear this costume and walk around. For $300 it's a piece of crap. ... show more

  • I like it, but it could be better.
I bought the XL version of this costume, because I have broad shoulders, and wanted to make sure it was going to fit. It did fit, but there was a ton of room in the waist, so if you've got a big gut, you probably have a good chance of fitting into this thing. I think the hair and everything looks pretty realistic, but the hair is sewn into the underlying fabric in rows that are a couple inches apart, and the underlying fabric is a light tan color. This results in the underlying fabric standing out from the hair, and giving the appearance of bald patches. The costume makers could have made the underlying material the same color as the hair, which would have blended in better, and would have reduced the stark contrast between the color of the hair and the color of the "skin." When I have time, I plan to manually die the underlying fabric a more appropriate color. The back is held together with buttons... all of which broke the first night I wore the costume. Granted, I didn't expect the quality of the costume to be all that great, considering it's made in China, but I thought maybe sewing buttons that could hold up wouldn't have been that challenging of a task. Obviously, I was wrong, so I will have to re-sew all the buttons on myself. Lastly, the mask has a plastic piece attached to the mouth and nose area on the inside of the mask. I liked this idea, but the piece of plastic in the mask I got was a bit bent up, and it ended up cutting and scraping my face a bit. One more thing I will have to personally modify to make the costume of a higher quality. I realize this probably doesn't seem like the most positive review, but at a base level, I am satisfied with this product. Yours may or may not require additional modification like mine, and I feel you should be aware of that before you make your decision. ... show more

  • Honest review
Style: Star Wars Supreme Edition Costume
I have been wanting the outfit for years, and this year I bought it..... My comments are: I am 6'4" 230 lb ... The outfit is tight in the crotch due to my long torso ...I ordered the standard size. The costume is better than in the stock pictures. The costume packaging has a picture of Kylo on the box. The head cavity is large as others have said. A hard hat does work well... Or stocking cap and ball cap backwards. The eyes (holes) on the mask I got were not large or excessive in size. Overall great outfit.... Would buy again ... show more

  • Great Costume ..but sheds worse than a scared dog and HUGE MASK!!!
Style: Star Wars Supreme Edition Costume
I guess my review will just reiterate what others have have already said. Sure the costume is cool...well not if you are wearing it in room above 65 degrees... but there are a few flaws. 1.) Buttons that fasten up the back for the main suit? Good luck taking a pee without help! (take note beer drinkers!) 2.) The shoe covers are basically worthless and will make you trip if nothing else. 3.) Good luck eating with it on out getting long stringy hairs in your food and those around you. 4.) If you are planning on dancing in this think again unless you plan on sweating a lot and may be smelling like a real Wookie! 5.) Plan on brushing this thing out a lot, otherwise you will look a Wookie with mange. The mask is HUGE!!! So much so that even wearing a baseball hat backwards still was hard to keep the mask on straight, worse with any kind of vision out of it. I eventually resided to wearing a set of ski goggles (Hoth Wookie?) just to keep the mask on and at a fixed position (see image). Ok that aside...i did like the working Wookie man purse, that fastens, which you can store things you need like a wallet and phone. After paying $200 for this I guess I know what I'm wearing for the next several Halloweens. =) ... show more
