It indicates that it will support a 14-in pocket I have a 12-inch mattress with a 2 in topper fitted pad on the top 12-in mattress by itself it would be perfect even though it indicates it has a 14 inch pocket I'm left with exposed bottom parts of the sheet I really thought the fact that it would work on a 14-in pocket I found that if I were to purchase this again I would find a 16 inch pocket product. The item itself is fine it's just a matter of sizing. I would recommend it it's no fault of the sheet or its design however the tolerance may be a little undersized for the average mattress use. The fabric is very soft and feels as though it should be comfortable to sleep on. This sheet is for a spare room so will have to get a full report from my houseguests the next time they stay over. They washed nice and are colorfast...noted no bleeding or color running. I was very disappointed to find that one of the sheets I got (ordered 2 for a twin daybed and a trundle) was never sewn in the corner so I had to repair myself. It wasn't worth me sending it back for a replacement for the price I paid as it was an easy fix. I do question the quality control of the company that makes these as this was an obvious error and never should have been packaged. The other sheet was okay so I decided to rate as average with 3 stars. I would buy again to give a second chance but make sure you check immediately if you order. I did like how soft they feel and are thick enough to hopefully wear well. Only time will tell if they pill or not after several washes. If necessary, I will update my review if they don't last.
