This was my first time doing anything like this, and I loved it! I did break the chair, it was my fault. Everything else went together nicely. Follow the directions and cut the pieces from both sides of the boards. Using an old nail file worked great on the edges. It came with glue that worked fine, get something with a fine tip. I know for the next ones I have already ordered. I cant do cross stitch or knitting any more but this wasnt to bad. I could just move onto another thing when my fingers wouldnt work. The hardest part was the wire for the light. I set up a rig using a big roll of tape to just hold the wire in place to connect it. Over all it's just way to cute. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I spent couple nights to build this house. The tool came with this diy mini house kit is practical, they can reach very tiny point. And the glue is fast and sticjy, which makes the work a lot easier. After assembly, the door can be open, the lights can be turned on and off, very real. ... show more

This Rolife/Rowood/Robotime "Miniature House Kit,Tiny House Kits to Build to Live in,DIY Wooden Crafts for Adults,Mini Model Kits with LED,Birthday for Teens(NO.17 Cafe)" is super awesome, and it is super deatiled and almost insane amount of parts. Be prepared to spend hours, if not days, on this. This is going to be a project, this is not something you will be able to build up within the hour kind of thing, this will take you quite some time and effort, and it is not easy, don't expect that. But trust me, it is worth it, at the end, and you will have fun thru the process. It even include lights (LEDs), it looks awesome displaying at night. If I can do .5 star, I will give this 4.5. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 is that of the cost, it is not cheap; but to a certain extend, it is kind of "worth it". Will I get another one, I probably will. I was concerned this kit would be beyond my abilities, I'm glad that it is on the smaller side, aside from being a miniature. I loved the diner nature of this kit, I selected it for this specific look. I used all the parts, re-purposed a cork top from the 4th bottle (kit includes 4, with 3 you fill with coffee and the 4th with flowers), left behind 2 leaves and the one milk carton applique. The cork I turned into a pseudo air freshener thing I stuck up on the top far window. I believe the sheets had an extra "bag" that isn't displayed, but I chose to make use of that and display on the back shelf, so you'll see 2 there. I glued most parts into place and might glue all after showing my wife, she's overseas. The led wasn't actually that bad and I initially didn't think I had a hot enough blow dryer for this (I do have a heat gun, but not with me). The most challenging thing were the flowers. Getting the tulip bulbs on was simple enough, it was getting those leaves on. I don't have a great low light setup so only provided a daytime pic, bottle of hotsauce for comparison ;). ... show more

Having bought other kits from this manufacturer before, I had a pretty good idea of what to expect coming into this. Their kits come with high quality parts, precut wood pieces, fabric, and paper plants, along with the glue needed for assembly. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, though this may not be the ideal kit for beginners due to the complexity of the build and compact size. Having built several of these with my wife, I would say that this is an intermediate range kit, so if you've built any similar kits before, you will be right at home. Given the high standards the manufacturer has, I can say with assurance (even though our kit is a work in progress), that it will come out looking like exactly like the preview picture on the box. I love these DIY Mini Dollhouse kits! This one is so cute! It came with everything you need to put it together. If you have not done these before, I caution you- have patience. There are a lot of tiny, intricate pieces. It will not be a quick project, but one that will take time, and immerse you into a creative zone. They are a lot of fun to put together and when you finally finish, you have something beautiful to be proud of! I must admit, I never use the glue that comes with these kits, so I cannot comment on the quality of that part of it. I tend to use Beacon 3-in-1 Craft Glue, which works very well.
