  • Great for the price
Size: Medium Color: 03 Black With Pockets
My boys and I participate in our local NICA MTB team so I've been picking up various cycling gear to wear during the practice season. My son tried this bib out on a recent camping trip to Mendocino and it's one of his favorite bibs. The padding is comfortable, and the mesh top helps to keep things a bit cooler. He also likes the mostly plain black, sleek look of the bib. I'd certainly order more in the future. ... show more

  • Nice beginner bib
Size: Large Color: 03 Black With Pockets
These Men's Cycling Bib Shorts with Sponge & GEL padding deserve a solid 4-star rating for their mid fabric quality, excellent padding, and overall fit. The fabric of these bib shorts is decent-quality, providing a good balance of durability and flexibility. It offers excellent breathability and moisture-wicking properties, keeping you cool and dry throughout your ride. The material feels comfortable against the skin and holds up well during extended use. The mesh on the upper part of the bib is a bit rough, leading to some chafing on longer rides, only up to 15 miles at this point. This issue is the main reason for the 4-star rating. The combination of sponge and GEL padding delivers superior comfort and support. The padding is well-distributed, providing cushioning in key areas and effectively absorbing shocks from rough roads. This feature significantly enhances the comfort of long rides. The overall fit of these bib shorts is excellent. The ergonomic design ensures a snug, yet flexible fit that moves with your body. The elasticity of d leg grippers keep the shorts in place without causing discomfort. ... show more

  • Comfortable bib shorts
Size: Small Color: 03 Black With Pockets
I have not been a bike-riding, bib-shorts kind of guy but I decided to try them out. It’s what the pros use, right? Ok, not that that’s a reason to do anything but curiosity is a perfectly good reason. Bib shorts, in general, have at least one advantage: no constricting waist band and in that respect, are somewhat easier to get on. In another respect, the straps, are not so easy to get on. The straps on the Rotto shorts are stretchy and tight, which is par for the course, I think, and at least for me, getting my arms through tended to roll them up. But I got them unrolled without much aggravation. The Rotto bib short are tight where they need to be, in the legs, and are sufficiently grippy at the top of my knees so they don’t move up once on the bike. I do like that they are not tight at the waist which makes them a bit easier to get into but, to be honest, the waist band never bothered me with any of my regular bike shorts. As far as comfort is concerned the gel pad is much like the gel pads in my regular shorts – comfortable for at least a 3- or 4-hour ride. One thing that I wasn’t sure of was whether or not the padding would be removable for separate washing. The pad is sewn in. And they have pockets. Yay! That’s a plus. I think bib shorts vs regular bike shorts is a personal choice without, at least at this level, any particular advantage one way of another. So, if bib shorts are your way to go, I don’t think there will be any disappointment with the Rotto bib shorts. ... show more

  • Fits well on bigger guy (3X size), comfy cushion for long rides
I'm a bigger guy, but I love riding my mountain bike. I tend to need to wear pants with belts though, as I hate having my pants slide down a bit. The problem is, every pair of bike pads I have don't have any way to use a belt, so I'm constantly having to adjust myself, or tie my belt so tight that it gets uncomfortable. This is more a slight annoyance than anything, but I've almost crashed a few times due to adjusting at inopportune times, so I wanted to try out a singlet style pair, so I grabbed these. I was a bit worried I wouldn't be able to find something that fit me, but as a 350lb 5'8" guy, these actually fit really nice! They aren't super loose, so I don't have to worry about them moving around much, but they also aren't so tight as to be uncomfortable. The bike pad itself is pretty cushy, and lets me ride much longer than without it. The pocket also is a nice feature, letting me throw my phone or a set of keys into it. It's not 100% perfect though. I feel like the pad is set a TINY bit too forward, which causes a bit of bunching. Once I adjust them once when I get on the bike, it's fine though. Overall, I really like these, and am super glad to have got them! ... show more

  • Nice Bibs but the cushion is installed too far forward.
The construction is lightweight and comfortable. Breathable materials. The cushion is sewed too far forward so it isn’t comfortable enough for me. The pockets are a great addition. The sizing is great. The leg cuffs keep it in place just fine.

  • Surprisingly Decent!
Size: Medium Color: 03 Black With Pockets
At first, I really wasn't sure if these were going to work out very well based on the overall fit. The fit feels a bit loose compared to other cycling bibs of the same size that I've worn. However, having said that I expected that they would cause additional rubbing which they did not and actually proved to be quite effective and comfortable for a 30 mile ride. Having said that, I don't believe that they're going to do much better than that distance and they'd start to get uncomfortable the longer you go. The chamois is effective, but not really made for the endurance cyclist. These are more or less basic bibs and do a great job in that category without breaking the bank. The con of this is that the rubber could be a bit longer and the fit could be a bit tighter. ... show more

  • Durable, Great fitting, Comfortable!
Size: Medium Color: 01 Black
Wearing these cycling bib shorts has significantly improved my cycling experience. The sponge and gel padding offer a perfect balance of comfort and support, even on rough terrain and long rides. I've noticed a considerable reduction in discomfort and fatigue, which allows me to ride longer and enjoy my time on the bike more. The fabric is breathable and does an excellent job of wishing away moisture. Even on hot days, I stay cool and dry, which enhances my overall comfort. The fit is great; the bib straps are comfortable and do not dig into my shoulders, and the shorts stay in place without riding up or shifting. ... show more
