While I absolutely loved this keyboard tray, it just didn't work for my purpose. I bought a new desk, hoping to provide myself with some more storage space and work space. The new desk didn't have a keyboard tray underneath like my previous desk, which, of course, I didn't realize until I assembled the thing (took 8 hours, so no way was I disassembling it). So, I searched Amazon for keyboard tray add-ons. This one was my second purchase. But, unfortunately, I will have to return it, as well I am an online college student, so I need all of the desk space I can get to put my notebook, calculator, pencils, pens, phone, etc. This tray prevents me from having a smooth desk to work on. You see, the clamp is smack dab in the middle of the desk. So, if you're like me, and need to write in a notebook while on the computer, it's just impractical. I've tried moving it over a little bit, but it's still a pain. If you don't have written work to do while you're on the computer, this is perfect for you. But if you're an online student, I say check elsewhere. Also, my desk has a metal bar going across underneath the desk. I noticed another reviewer added post-its to make it work. They were right! I cut up a bunch of cardstock paper (I was never going to use) and stuffed it in there. Worked like a charm. Last thing: If you don't have a lot of space between your chair and the bottom of the desk, you will hit your legs on the part of the keyboard tray that sticks out underneath. The reason I purchased this item was due to the fact my arms were starting to hurt badly. My desk is pretty high and My shoulder and arms were starting to bother me. I was in the market for desk tray, but I wasn’t sure if the built quality was going to be great. I was afraid it was going to be cheap material, but I was pleased by the material and how sturdy it is. I am able to my palm and not feel as if it is going to break easily. There is enough space to put my keyboard and palm rest without worrying if there’s not going to be enough space. I was a bit worried I wasn’t going to like that the tray spins instead of sliding. I’ve gotten used to it, now, but It’s not to much of a negative, The installation process was easy; however, the instruction paper was not very helpful. It’s not going to take very long to install. It will take you about ten minutes. Everything is given to you, so you don’t have to worry about tools. There are probably going to be better options out there but for the amount I paid, I feel it was a great purchased. My arms aren’t to high up when I am using my computer. ... show more

    • Nice and sturdy
I recently got a standing desk and needed a keyboard tray. My desk has a horizontal bar that goes across it underneath, so I couldn't buy one of the traditional under mount keyboard trays. So I searched for a clamp on style tray and purchased a couple of styles. This rotating tray by Klearlook has been by far the best one. The way the tray mounts to the clamp makes it extremely sturdy. I tend to have a heavy hand/lean on the keyboard when typing and this tray is holding up well. It's also wide enough to hold my Logitech K750 solar keyboard and M557 mouse. The textured fake leather tray top is nice, but I think I might need a mouse pad because my mouse has been acting weird. It wasn't an issue for me, but for others who are used to pushing the tray in when getting up or to get closer to your desk to write, the rotating of the keyboard may take some getting used to. At first, I kept trying to push in, but about 2 weeks in, I'm getting used to rotating it under the desk. Also, the bar under my desk is a little over 2" and my keyboard just barely clears going underneath. It's probably because the keyboard is slim profile and the keys are extremely low, almost like a laptop keyboard. So if you have a bar and use a traditional keyboard that has keys that stand up higher, you may have issues. Overall, I'm happy with this keyboard tray. It's sturdy, big enough to hold my keyboard and mouse, and actually looks nice. I would definitely buy their products again. ... show more

    • Great idea, helpful for neck and arms, but tray lacks stability and sturdiness
The clamp works well with non-flat edges, like curved edges and l shaped desks. Rotation works very well but make sure there is enough clearance under the desk. Keyboard tray is just large enough to full a full size keyboard with the minimum room for a mouse on a dual monitor setup. This has helped tremendously so far with my neck and using keyboard/mouse feels much more natural. My biggest complaint is how unstable the tray is. It is only secured in the middle and the tray itself is made up of real cheap wood material. So when you are typing on the keyboard chances are your weight is heavily pushing down the left side, or whatever side you are using. You also cannot raise the height of the keyboard which is a little low for me but it ensures I have enough clearance to use my Logitech MX Master mouse if this mouse is somewhat under the L of my desk. If I am planning to keep this item, I think I will be adding in metal support bars on the bottom to support horizontally that the mounting hardware will go over. ... show more
