This was a lot of fun to put together. The peices are better quality than I expected. My only complaint is that the motion sensor seems to have stopped working properly after a few weeks. The light comes on constantly unless it is turned off.

It is very easy to put together if you are ok with what comes in the kit, but I like to make my own scene, i don't like cartoonish characters in my dioramas. I like them to be open for imagination I did use lots of my own material, paint, even objects that that I keep gathering for my dioramas. I really like the end result. :) ... show more

Straight forward build, has a rating of 3.5 difficulty. 2 rating would be more accurate and was pretty quick to assemble. Material is more high quality/sturdy and motion activated sensor is nice but you lose on details compared to similar products. Also, mine was missing its glue.

One of the easiest mini kits I've put together so far. This one was mostly just punch the prepainted wood shapes out, then glue them into their corresponding slot. The led light is spooky greenish, and there's a foggy mirror at the back that really adds to the deep dark scary alley effect. There are the requisite witches, ghosts and other creepy critters poking out from the sides of the alley. The finished kit is about the size and shape of a large hardback book. I got this to make for a friend and she & hubby both loved it. I really enjoyed the building process and almost hated to give it away. But I have enough of these dang addictive Rolife kits. This has probably been my favorite build so far because it was simpler than other kits but the finished product looked more complicated than it was to make. If you're a sucker for Halloween stuff you'll probably enjoy this kit. Like all Rolife kits, they are organized and parts labeled well, first class planning and packing, and easy to understand step by step photo instructions. ... show more
