    • Working after fustrating installation
These are working well after some frustration putting them atop the car. The front and back rail were not labeled as the vague instruction sheet said. FYI: the front rail is the longer rail. Also suggest you assemble with two people-- one on each side to finagle and bolt into place. Also, we had to apply slight pressure (one end on a brick and the other on the ground and gently step on the middle) to bend both rails so they would fit properly. ... show more

Don't waste your time. They are too long. I can get the front to fit just barely but the back is about 1/4 " too long. On top of that the bolts are all rusted inside. I guess the saying you get what you pay for truly applies for this item. Edit: To make matters worse the seller makes you pay for your return even when they sell an item that is not true to size. Amazon confirmed these fit my vehicle but clearly it doesn't. Edit #2: Didnt want to pay for the return so after cleaning the rust out of each nut and using a suggestion to bend the rails from a previous review I was able to get the rack installed.     • One trick to help with installation
Though there were no directions in the package, I was able to find a video on YouTube that helped quite a bit. One trick not in the video: the package includes form fitted rubber gasket pieces that are not attached to the mounting feet. When you turn the unit over to mount it, the gasket material flops into the way. This makes it nearly impossible to mount without another set of hands. Solution: silicone rubber adhesive. Mount the gasket, let it set up properly, and install is so much easier. ... show more

    • Good value, fit and function.
The roof rails mounted easily. I have put a large enclosed roof top carrier on them and mounted kayaks too. The only issue I have is the covers blow off, I am missing 3 out of 4. I would buy new covers if they were available. Overall it’s a good value and I would recommend them.
