I wish the reviews about this item being cheaply made or low quality didn’t scare me away from buying these for as long as it did, because I love them SO much. I bought two of them and the colors pair well with many of my tops (which are all easy to tuck into the dress, even bulky hoodies), the material is light and nice for warm weather, YOU WILL LOVE YOUR SILHOUETTE IN THIS, it makes me feel so girly and delicate. I have a very flat chest so if you have a large chest I can see the cheap material and clasps being an issue. Other than that, don’t let the other reviews scare you! I’ve gotten so many compliments on these, from the color to the shape and style people really think these are cute on me, my boyfriend noticeably compliments me more when I’m wearing my pinafore dress 💕 ... show more

I’m using this as part of a costume so my standards were already low but there are a lot of odd quirks about this as a dress. I can’t imagine anyone wearing it except as a costume honestly. The material is not great or flattering as daywear, it says 100% cotton but it feels like cheap spandex or whatever they make costumes with usually. The top flap sits on your chest like an apron because it is incredibly small. I have a bigger chest (40DD) and my breasts literally sit on either side of the bib. I read in other reviews that this is an issue for everyone so it’s not just my bigger chest. I am pretty short and this runs to almost my knee, the length is odd. Some people posted that it was short on them though. I’m 5’1”. Also it’s light enough in yellow that you can’t wear anything dark underneath. Anywho, beyond those weird things, the color is a deep almost mustard color that doesn’t translate well into photos but the color is cute, think more of an autumn palette. I am usually a size 10 or so, my waist is 33” and this fit just fine. I had been worried it’d be too small from review but it fits great. ... show more

It's thin and flowy. Less like usual overalls and more like a spring/summery dress. I wish the chest piece was wider because it makes me feel giant with how tiny it is! But it's still a cute outfit. There's a few loose strings around the dress but nothing too major. The zipper feels like it could break easily so I'd be wary of that. The pink is such a cute color and it's not bad for the price 😁 I'm 5'3 and 130lbs and I got a medium because that's what I usually get I'm clothes but I would go up a size to be safe. Around the waist is a little snug but you can always adjust the straps to make a big dress shorter but you can't adjust the amount of fabric around the waist and chest. ... show more

UPDATE: I recently bought the yellow dress (my original review was for the black dress). I noticed the same issue — the buttons fell off on the second wear. I super glued them like the first, problem solved. I did, however, notice that this yellow dress pills a lot more than the black one. I have to trim the little fabric balls off after each wear. It’s starting to get a run down the middle, so that sucks. I’m definitely not as happy with the second one as I was with the first one. However- even though they’re so cheap, I’ll probably ge the pink one, too. This dress is crazy adorable, and I wear them all the time. ORIGINAL: Let me just start by saying, this dress is adooooorable. It’s a shame that it’s so cheaply made. After 3 wears, the righthand snap broke off entirely. Nothing a little super glue couldn’t fix, though! The straps also loosen on their own quite a bit. I wear this dress like once a week regardless. This dress was cute but not exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a thicker/stiffer material whereas this dress is very soft, loose fabric so it has more of a natural fall rather than being structured. It's still cute and very flowy. The material seemed like fairly good quality, not very thick.

Cute. I bought the yellow color in a small. I’m 5’4” 130, fits just slightly tight in the waist. Took away one star because the straps loosen on their own pretty easily and it’s kind of annoying to keep adjusting them. May buy the black though.

Very cute little cover all dress. My daughter ordered an XL. For reference she is 5’5”, 123 pounds. You can see in the pic that the waist is a tad big, but I’m guessing this will shrink some.
