    • It works - if you work it right.
We had two floor-to-ceiling separated and curling seams. This is 25-year-old DYI vinyl wallpaper, so expectations were low. At first try, the paper would not stay down and kept curling away from the wall. So, I moved on to another section of the seam, then kept coming back with the putty knife and re-flattening the earlier treated area. With time (15-20 minutes) of repeated flattening, the paper became more flexible and the product more tacky and the seam stayed flat and closed. It’s been over a week now - this is a bathroom, so moisture is an issue - and so far, so good ! We are pleased with the results. ... show more

    • Eventually holds seams that are sticking out.
I wish the glue worked faster since I have a lot of loose seams in my bathroom. Once it holds the seams, it has staying power, but it takes a lot of “elbow grease” to get the job done.

First off, I was very excited to find this and see that it was affordable. I read the reviews and didn’t think twice about buying it. I waited nearly a month for my shipment to have it be lost in shipment. I was given a refund and sent a new product. When I got it I followed the directions exactly and my first impression was that it felt and looked exactly like Elmer’s glue. When I applied it to my wallpaper, it didn’t stick, was extremely watery and overall not at all like I was hoping it would be. This product was a waste of money and I would not recommend using this at all. Side note: I was using this on peel and stick wallpaper, so it could have had a reaction to the glue already on the wallpaper but there was nothing written in the application usage that said not intended for peel and stick wallpaper. Not sure how it holds up to paste wallpaper. Either way I am very disappointed and wish this would have solved my problem of lifting wallpaper. ... show more

    • Takes patience
Not sure any type of glue would help on my very thick wallpaper, but I did try this one based on reviews. I found that the tube did not go very far and it immediately leaked through the seams. It worked best if I had a damp rag and immediately wiped the excess glue after applying it. Also discovered that the roller did not work on keeping it stuck down but if I took my fingers and knuckles and pressed hard along the seams for a few minutes, it stayed better. The directions say to press on it for 15 minutes, but if I had to do that, it would take me months to repair all the seams. In any case we will see how long the the seams I was able to get stuck down stay put. It wasn’t easy to use and I didn’t feel it was the best. But I don’t think it’s the worst either. ... show more

    • Messy but worth it
Purchased for our RV. We have several places where seam tape is pulling off the wall and curling. RV dealer told us to gently heat the tape to re-activate the glue and then re-stick it. Didn't work, the tape peeled right back off again. We tried this glue and after messing with it a little, we were able to get the tape to stick back where it is supposed to be. A small amount of this glue, rubbed on by hand and tape rubbed on by hand until it sticks. A damp cloth will cleanup any overflow. You just have to keep working it, pressing the item glued until it sticks. Been several weeks now, and all the tape we repaired is still staying on. Happy with the product!! ... show more
