I had my eye on this supplies caddy the moment I saw it. It's a knock-out! I had read the reviews, and it's all the good things people said it is. It's amazing that it's only ... x ... x ... (see dimensions listed), but holds so much. Whether its filled or half empty, it never looks overloaded or under-used. It's easy to view its contents, as well as to access and return supplies to it. It takes up so little space! Nothing gets caught on it. It never has to be held in place for it to stay steady and weighted down, even as it holds a large pair of scissors! It is very good quality, nothing flimsy about it! When my daughter sees it, she's going to want one! Do they sell these by the half-dozen? January 17, 2014: I have found another use for this sturdy little item. I am using it in the kitchen to hold all the smaller to medium-sized kitchen diddles that are hard to keep track of / to get hold of in drawers. Amazingly, it holds all of these with no problem: Two pairs of kitchen scissors, a potato pealer, a meat thermometer, a basting brush, 3 rubber spatulas, 2 can openers, a paring knife, an all-in-one measuring device (1 tsp to 4 tsp) -- all this, with room to spare. I have finally stopped rummaging frantically through kitchen drawers looking for all these items on a daily basis. The drawer space in the middle at the bottom holds other small items, or you can remove the drawer itself and have an open storage space there, with the drawer being placed for use at the side of the unit. The caddy is coated so it stays clean, does not rust, and is washable. It's also very easy to put these items away, into the caddy, after they come out of the washer. ... show more

Bought this way back to organize the tools on my desk. Gave it to my mom after several years of using it. It was great. Only downside is it was tough to clean the base. There's probably a technique to do so, which I didn't know.

I have seen a similar product at Office Max, Walmart, etc., and I needed something to organize my kitchen counter where we kept pens, stapler, etc. This had a number of compartments which was nice and it doesn't take up too much space on the counter. Would be nice if it were a smidge bigger...maybe just a little longer with a another divided space or two on top but overall I'm thrilled with it and for the price too. This desk organizer is exactly what I was looking for! It is very sturdy and holds a great deal of stuff. The small drawer is the perfect size for a stack of post it notes. the four compartments on the ends are tall and allow for plenty of pen, pencil, marker, scissor, nail file, ruler, or whatever else you need to keep handy storage. The two small and shallow compartments above the post it drawer are perfect for paper clips, binder clips, loose change, any other small things you need to keep handy at your desk, etc. There is one additional small, shallow compartment behind the paper clip compartments which is another shallow compartment that I find perfect for storing my chap stick (gotta love Burts Bee's!) and hand lotion (have you ever shopped at Lush?? Try the Handy Gurugu hand cream!) that I very often use while at my desk. The black mesh is in no way fragile or bendable. This thing feels pretty solid. My fear with ordering it online was that it would be and or feel flimsy. Not the case at all. Also, the desk organizer has rubber discs on the bottom of it that keep it from sliding all over your desk! All in all, a great purchase that was reasonably priced - much more than anything I could find in Staples or Target. Arrived quickly (Amazon prime - what would I do without you?) and in great shape.
