    • Heavy duty but the packaging will leave at least some part of the product damaged
Update: I generously received a new whiteboard after showing the damage to the one I received. New one has no damage. I am happy with the whiteboard, happy with the customer service. I think the packaging could be improved. Both boxes were partially open when they arrived. However, this didn’t result in any damage to the product. If you buy this whiteboard you will probably like it. I would recommend it to others. This thing is heavy. Which makes it feel like it will last for a long time. The wheels are pretty good and move easily over my carpet. But once you get past that you'll start noticing all kinds of minor but annoying issues with the product. For a cheaper product I'd give it three stars but I'm giving it two stars because it is significantly more expensive than other options. The only part wrapped in plastic inside the box is the whiteboard surface itself. This means that every other part is going to have some kind of small scratch on it. The whiteboard surface I originally received had a scratch on it along with a scuff mark. The scratch is annoying but the scuff mark can't be cleaned. As soon as my dry erase marker went over it it was impossible to wipe off. Now there's a permanent black smudge in the upper right corner of the whiteboard. Luckily I can flip it over, but I paid for two writing surfaces, not one. I could also disassemble it and flip it over so the smudge is on the bottom but I saw it after putting in all of the finishing bits so it'll be really hard to disassemble again. The marker tray is cheaply made and the holes to put the screws through are all warped but you'll never see it since it's on the bottom. This looked bad when I took it out of the box but it makes no difference once it is assembled. The ruler looks neat but I haven't used it yet. The part that is meant to lock the whiteboard at different angles works nicely but the paint came off of it immediately. The "instructions" as others have mentioned leave a lot to be desired. It's more of a parts list and a diagram that you can use to surmise how the thing is put together. One important detail that's left out of the diagram is the locking mechanism I mentioned above. I don't think you can put it on backwards but the diagram is no help here in getting it right the first time. ... show more

I wanted a double sided magnetic white board that I could use free standing and with the option of later wall-mounting it. The price was good and the reviews were overall positive so I ordered one. Then I exchanged it, then I returned the replacement unit for a refund. This was my experience. First, a word about design & packaging. The product is advertised as wall mountable. However the bolts that stick out from the short-sides of the board (that are used to hold the board when in "mobile" mode) are not removable. The picture in the listing showing the board in "wall" mode does not show these non-removable bolts. While this wouldn't have been a deal-breaker for me, this is false advertising and potential buyers should be aware of this design flaw before ordering. In regards to packaging, it was almost non-existent. All of the parts had been dislodged in shipping and the very little Styrofoam used to secure those parts was broken (in both the 1st & 2nd unit received). The 1st unit had a quarter-size dent on one side of the board. This was clearly shipping damage as the outside of the box had a puncture in the same location. Better internal packaging would have likely prevented this damage. The 2nd board I received did not have any shipping damage, but did have two manufacturing defects. The major defect was a large wrinkle/ripple/bubble that ran diagonally across one side of the board. The other minor defect (which would have otherwise been a non-issue) was that one of the rivets that holds the frame to the board had it's top broken off. This did not appear to really affect the boards structural integrity but still worth noting. After receiving a 2nd damaged/defective unit I decided to return it for a refund and to try another seller. From my experience (2x sellers, 4x boards) the "wrinkle" manufacturing defect is very common with these types of boards and is not unique to this manufacturer/seller. I however still cannot recommend this specific product until the manufacturer fixes the bolt design issue and invests in better packaging. ... show more

The dry-erase board came with the packaging in tact. Unboxing, the board was in perfect condition without any blemishes or imperfections. It was easy to put together. It can be easily done with one person & I completed the assembly within 30 minutes. There was one issue with the parts, however. There are 4 screws that are used to attach the bars [that the wheel casters attach to]. Three of the screws were the same size and one was shorter, as shown in the photo. I was still able to complete a sturdy assembly, but it would have been nice for the correct hardware to be included. It comes with magnets, a centimeter ruler, and an eraser. The magnets are small, about 1cm but there are several. They hold tight and so not slide. The eraser is a bit too wide to sit in the tray. I’m a bit particular about those things, so I thought I’d share. Otherwise it’s fine and erases properly without leaving behind marker residue or dark smudges. The tray holds the eraser and at least 10-12 Expo markers. Overall, I am very impressed the the quality. It was easy to assemble. Everything functions properly. I highly recommend this. ... show more
