I LOVE this bag. I can’t believe I didn’t buy this sooner. I’m not a DJ, but I am an IT nerd who has every kind of cable, cord, and wire out there. Why? Because I may need it at some point and can’t bring myself to throw them away. While cleaning my house I realized I need to consolidate and organize my cords and cables. This bag is perfect. It has adjustable separators that are Velcro but are sturdy and stay in place. There are multiple smaller compartments that unzip on the front and sides for smaller cords or other items. I am not a DJ, but ordered this bag hoping to use it as versatile rolling transport. Primarily, I envisioned carrying supplemental tools and spare parts. It would accommodate the overflow from my regular tool bags, and carry items like extra batteries, an extension cord, chargers, nuts and bolts, cable, things like that. My conclusion after about two months: it is not up to the tasks I had in mind, but can serve other purposes well. The problem: this bag really is not suitable for more than light loads. Its weak links include the telescoping aluminum handle, the locking joint between the handle and base, and even the bag itself. On the plus side: it does contain a wide range of organizational pockets and pouches, which are great. Note that, although the bag is almost 16 inches wide, you can only utilize this full width if NOT using any of the 6 detachable dividers. That's because these dividers' Velcro surfaces only attach to the bag in a front/back orientation, not side-to-side. With them attached, your maximum dimension becomes just over 11 inches. With all of them in place, you have narrow compartments, perfect for coiled audio cables or extension cords. But if I were a serious DJ rolling my gear around, I'd want a larger and more rugged bag or case, with greater protection and padding. The bag has worked well to transport picnic supplies: plates, glasses, silverware, a blanket, non-perishables, etc. So I am happy with it, even though I am not using it as I had originally intended. The positives: The bag is usefully sized and has a bright orange interior that allows you to see smaller dark objects inside the bag. It also has hook and loop fastener loops that allow it to quickly and easily be attached to the wheeled cart. There are also a number of zippered mesh pockets in the lid of the bag and on the front and sides of the bag that are mostly conveniently sized. None are sized to allow the storage of longer coiled cables. The drawbacks: The bag is not thickly padded and is not reinforced to be stiff, so there is the potential for your equipment to be damaged. Even on the roller cart base, the soft sides of the back fall down. This can make loading and unloading the bag frustrating. It comes with several partitions that can be held to the interior with strips of hook and loop fastener. However, only the longer (across he front/back) sides of the interior have material that can hold the hook and loop fastener, so the partitions, should you car to use them can only he installed parallel to the shorter sides, which limits their usefulness. The cart handle exteded very easily, with a mechanism that is easy to use. However the handle WILL NOT stay perfectly upright. The thin tabs that click to hold it in place are very weak, so the handle falls over the bag top making it difficult to reach inside. You end up having to lift the handle all the time to load and unload the back. The cart wheels are fairly narrow, time will answer whether they will withstand extended use. ... show more

Super lightweight and compact bag great for different occasions. I bought this bag for my wife since she likes to do decorations. She was able to use this bag to carry and transport all of her necessary tools and equipment for birthday decorations. The build of the bag is very sturdy and tear resistant, which is great for travel. Definitely worth the money to be organized and have everything on hand in a one simple bag.
