It's definitely going to take some time to break these in because of the material used. I wasn't expecting the outer shell to be so stiff, and I also feel like there's too much padding on the inside of the skate. The two combined are making the skates lack flexibility.

Out the box, Great Skates. I got a pair for my mom and I. Size down from your normal shoe size, just like you would with rented skates. I wear a size 8, but had to return because I forgot to size down to a size 7. Very comfortable and the best fit!

These roller-skates are GREAT!! They are super comfy right out of the box and while using them. The wheels roll very smoothly and the rubber stopper works well. Plus the color is AWESOME!! So just a little note, for some reason in the listing, I thought the the wheels were see-thru red (which would look so cool!), but they are actually solid red with black accents. If you zoom on on the listing you can see them better. Doesn’t matter, just wanted to put that in here in case someone else sees the same illusion I did. Highly recommend these!! ... show more
