Purchased both the Butterfly - Tan and the Butterfly - Black in 9.5. After reading the reviews and learning that they are narrow through the toe, I ordered 1/2 size up from my usual 9. I am glad that I did. The 9.5 offers ample additional room for my toes without being baggy or cumbersome. The height is between ankle and mid-calf which works well for someone with larger calves, like myself, who struggles to find a wide-calf. The fit and feel is that of a traditional cowboy boot--a bit stiff, no cushion in the sole and a hard heel. I find I walk a little heavier with these boots than I do with others. The heel feels strong and sturdy but we will see how they wear over time. I plan to only wear these indoors for work. My only complaint, and it's minor, is the unfinished edges that show more predominately on the lighter boot. They really do look and feel like a decent boot for the price. ... show more

These cowboy boots were literally perfect and super cute!!!! I wore them all weekend in Nashville. I normally wear a size 10 in my Brooks running shoes and I ordered a size 10 in these. Such a great quality for an inexpensive pair of boots. I highly recommend these. I am normally a woman’s size 8 in all shoes. I was undecided about sizing up after reading reviews. I ended up ordering these boots in a size 8 and they fit PERFECT! Not too tight at all. I’m not sure if people are sizing up because of the width of their feet? The widest part of my foot is 3.5in across and I think that’s average. I ordered a size 9, which is what I wear. They were a smidge tight but after wearing them a day, I feel like the stretched out. My toes didn't hurt the next day so I feel like they run pretty true to size. I am so shocked at the quality for this price. I purchased the blue booties and they look fantastic! Bought these boots for a Nashville trip. Didn’t care if they didn’t last past the trip but honestly they are amazing. So cute, supportive, and comfortable. These are comfortable, and don't leak in the rain. i got burgundy and a black pair. Everytime i wear them, strangers remark on what great boots they are. They don't look like faux leather and do not scuff easily like some do. The low heal is perfect, just wish they had more colors. The shaft is a great height to tuck in skinny jeans and not tight.
