  • Man, this is the cadillac of walkers! A senior can manage everything they need with ease and safety.
Color: Purple
This is a well-designed walker with a lot of attributes that give me confidence that my parents are going to be able to use it with safety and ease. My mom recently came out of the ICU, having beaten a bilateral pneumonia but requiring a tube--we didn't know if she was going to make it, and she's only 66. Well, hopefully that was a wakeup call on health and wellness, and certainly standard mobility and fitness, because she needed oxygen after coming out and had trouble getting around. She doesn't want a walker, but has to use one right now, so I picked this up because I knew they'd need one in the long run anyway. This walker is really the cadillac of walkers, I guess! Lots of useful bells and whistles that seniors can quickly manage on their own without needing to call someone to intervene. I love that wheels articulate in a way that makes it way easier to to move the walker right in the direction you want to go, without have to pick it up or put tennis balls on the poles. I really like how easy it is to press down on the brake locks to make the rear wheels park in position--makes it much easier and safer to sit down on the seat or fuss with your cane if you have one in the provided crutch. It also fold up pretty nicely for storage behind a door, or between a washer and dryer, etc. The brakes are reliable and an easy way to slow the unit down if some momentum gets too troubling for the user. I really like that she can take it around the block, but stop whenever she wants and also sit down and take a break if necessary. This is huge for motivation and comfort with continuing to exercise and stay well. Also, the seat back is fully adjustable along the rails of the main support handles, so they can make the seat as comfortable for their body as they like. My only 2 whines about this unit are the instructions and the bottom of the bag. All the pictures of the finely detailed moments are way too small, and the colors in the elements of the pictures too similar, so it's hard to tell what they are even trying to say should be done. So I had to hunt down a few spots to get things headed in the right direction. I've attached some images here of the moments that are hard to find, like the crutch clip bolt which is along the bottom, and how the bag fits with an envelope style along the slender rail. Overall, well-made, just need to increase picture size to make easier instructions. Also, the hard plastic bottom of the bag has to be taken out when you fold it up, or it will bend and hold that position long-term, kinda annoying. Very happy to pick this up for my mom as she manages the transition back to normal life, and for the long term if they continue to have mobility issues. It's a 4.5 for me, dinged because of the instruction issue, but that rounds here to a 5 and I think you'll feel good having this unit for your loved ones. ... show more

  • Almost perfect design with a number of uncommon PROS [solid 5 stars]
Color: Silver
After trying and reviewing a significant number of rollators / walkers, this is near the top of my list. Here are my thoughts and observations. UNPACKING / ASSEMBLY – This rollator / walker was very well packed with many parts in bubble wrap. Fit and finish are great which helped with a quick and easy assembly. There is not much to assemble and no tools were needed. SOME DIMENSIONS OF NOTE – 1) The seat height is about 21 ¾” and the seller notes this rollator is for those between 5’ and 6’5” (I had a 4’11” person sit on the seat and their feet did not touch the ground0. 2) The distance between the hand grips is about 15 ⅝” W and 18” W once seated. 3) The seat itself is about 17 ⅜” W x 9 ½” D (14” to seat back). 4) The rollator is about 25” W (wider with the cane and beverage holders attached), and fits easily through my 36” W doorways. 5) Folded, the rollator is only about 10” W. FEATURES OF NOTE – 1) Ergonomic hand grips. 2) 2-way brakes for slowing down or locking in place (and the brakes arrived perfectly adjusted). 3) There are reflectors on both sides of front wheels and 2 at the back of the seat. 4) The 8” wheels work well on all indoor surfaces and mostly smooth outside surfaces. 5) It comes with a can and beverage holder (so this also in uncommon features section). 6) Folding and opening are very easy; pull up on the handle to fold and push down on the outside edges of the seat until it clicks to open. 7) The load capacity is 350 pounds and as a larger than average sized man (but not close to the capacity) I was comfortable seated and the chair felt very stable and secure. Those closer to the load capacity will want to consider the seating area dimensions I noted above. UNCOMMON FEATURES: 1) The 6 ⅜” W, mesh and cushioned back rest is easily height adjustable. 2) Push button arm height adjustment (with 6 heights). 3) The padded mesh seat to me is so much more comfortable because it is flexible and curves to me contours. 4) The very nice mesh, zippered storage bag has a bottom support and it attached by sliding it on to a metal frame; something I have never seen. It stays on when the chair is folded and can easily be removed and carried using the attachable shoulder belt. 5) There are clips attached to the frame that hold the brake cables in place (so much better than the usual thin piece of Velcro ended nylon strip). 6) The mesh beverage holder has 2 compartments with one appearing to be waterproof for a cell phone. 7) EVERY folding rollator should have simple clip that keeps the rollator from trying to open; simple and very effective. SUMMARY - My challenge to rollator / walker makers is to come up with a design that is pretty much identical to this EXCEPT having the seat face the other direction so there is not the tighter width of the handle grips to get seated. It might involve moving the storage bag or at least making sure it is not in the way when a person is seated. That said, to me this is a great rollator walker at a very fair price (just under $140 US at the time of this review). I would personally buy it and recommend it to family and friends. I really love this solid 5-star rollator / walker. ... show more
