  • Very well made and fit and finish is great
My wife loves the realistic sound and never needs tuning!

  • Packing and Delivery was fantastic!
This piano is by far the best for beginner and intermediate players. I am just getting back into playing and the Roland RP120 is the perfect piano. I tried a Yamaha and it was ok but the Roland far exceeds in price, acoustic like quality and ease of use. The weighted keys and touch is like playing a real piano. My wife was in another room listening to me one day and said if she didn't know better she would have swore I had bought a "real" acoustic piano. I was a Yamaha piano person but Roland has converted me. And again, the packaging of the product was like nothing I had ever seen before. Thanks Roland! ... show more

  • Quality instrument
Easy to put together, plays great, bought for my daughter to start lessons on it, sounds like a real piano, and with the bluetooth/ roland app, you can get different sounds(free), you can layer sounds, split the keyboard into two different instruments, built in metronome, and ability to get sheet music on the app. It has even got me back into experimenting with piano, being i haven't really played in over 20 years. Good investment, looks good, fits well in any room ... show more

  • Overall a great value at 1k but don't expect great build quality.
This thing is made out of particle board and it's fragile enough that the cover was damaged when we moved. It seems to be made out of particle board, but the actual electronics and the key feel is still good, it's a nice entry level digital piano, I just advise you to treat it like it's fragile if you buy it. ... show more

  • Received broken.
I wish I can give a 0 star. Although I saw some comments that product is received damaged, I decided to try because I like Roland piano. But guess what? After finishing assembling the frame, when it is finally turn to take out piano, I found it is broken! The keyboard sliding lid is nailed onto the cover from underneath we, and the piece I received has broken off. This is a very heavy piano, very heavy package box. So my advice, check everything before you start Assembly. I am asking for a replacement, how my luck is better next time. ... show more

  • Great for home practice.
With it's "hammer action" keys, it is a great piano for practicing. It doesn't take up much space considering it has all 66 full sized keys. IMHO, Roland has the best piano sound engine on digitals. I've played their top of the line grand GP-609 which sounds fantastic. This is not that piano. It really comes down to the amp and speakers (mostly the speakers) which give the RP-102 a more mediocre sound. It supports half-damper pedaling which should take any student through intermediate into early advanced. The higher end models have the full damper modeling, but that is for the much more advanced student and comes at a much higher cost. ... show more

  • Decent keyboard, but poor cover/lid.
I was so excited to get this for my wife for our anniversary. She had always wanted a piano. We've only had it for 2 days and the lid is already cracking at the side. I'm very disappointed. The piano itself is of good quality, but I would recommend getting something without the cover or something with a higher quality cover. ... show more
