Unlike the XReal One,,,these work with all of my devices without giving me red screens or no DP audio...These Rokid Max delivers the sound and clear screen without all of the overdone trickery of the Xreal One. What's so funny is that the screen size (With the suitable view) is gonna be about the same with all of these glasses...Xreal ones have so much going on with the internal computer that it causes conflicts with some of my devices. These glasses will stop working with any device besides the Station accessory after 10 months. The station accessory is useless. The glasses worked great with PS5 and a Windows laptop for ten months before suddenly starting to flicker and disconnect. I replaced all connecting wires and they still don't work. They DO work with the rokid branded cord when attached to the Station, but guess what? On the end of the cord is a Micro HDMI, making it incompatible with pretty much everything made in the last 10 years. Their customer service told me to connect the glasses to a compatible device. That's it. That's their solution, even though nothing changed in my setup. This solution did nothing. STAY AWAY!!! Spend your money on one of their competitors, cause ROKID ain't it. ... show more

1) Just buy the glasses. The controller is just Android TV. The glasses work with computers, Video games, Chromcast or any TV "stick" with an HDMI plug. 2) These get very warm at the top, especially when you apply the lens covers. Taking them off shuts then off so take breaks. 3) These can be made portable by connecting to a power bank but you need one with two USB-A connectors One to power the "Livin" adapter/signal amplifier and one for your media device (unless it has it's own power supply/battery) 4) buy a female to female adapter (you will need it) 5) Remove the nose piece. It comes off with a hard tug. Lastly: these do not have VR motion. If you wish to view VR you'll need a controller of some type that connects to or is built in to your media device. Also lastly: connect your media device to a Bluetooth speaker, buds or earpieces. The speakers in these glasses are horrible. ... show more

    • Excellent screen, very comfortable, plug’n’play as a screen easily with iPad, Samsung, and iPhone.
AR mode is no longer supported on the Rokid app so that was a deal breaker for me. For those that only want a large screen, these are great! The image is clear, crisp, and it is like having a large television in front of you. I easily plugged these glasses into my iPad Pro M1 and my Samsung Fold 6 and was able to view videos, mirror screens, extend screens, use DeX on the Fold 6. It all worked great. Speakers are so much louder than I expected, most of the time I had them down to volume 1 (out of 10 I think) and the brightness is super bright! I usually set it to 1 or 2 (out of 6) when in dim-lit rooms otherwise it was just too bright for me. They are comfortable and lightweight, the case is nice, the cable is great, and it came with the attachment to blackout the glasses. I almost bought the Rokid station so I can use AR mode but I could not justify spending more money on this when I already have a Meta Quest 3, my iPad Pro, and my Fold 6. ... show more

Great glasses if you just want a big screen TV for traveling. Very portable, sound is great and screen is bright with 10 levels. One of the few glasses that has adjustments for nearsighted people. Great product.

    • Fitting your face!
The most important thing I can say, is make sure this thing fits your face. I ended up giving it away to a family member that could use it much better than I could. The picture quality is fine, but getting the full screen into view to use it for a console was not an easy task. I had to remove the nose pads just to get this to work for me and even then had to press it up against my face. This device does run warm so it quickly got uncomfortable for me. On top of that, the arms weren't long enough to be comfortable. The family member I gave it to has no issues though. Please be wary of what you get. ... show more

Glasses are very cool !! but app is vague in all aspect of use. setup is short 30sec. videos . Also( Items needed) to function correctly with various devices is not well explained. So plan ahead what to buy with glasses to suit your needs. be careful of what you buy not all products adapters and cables etc. work with them. ... show more

Does not charge or power up. Plus the AR app required to get AR mode working is no longer in the Play store. Double disappointment.
