  • Great amplifier, pleasantly surprised at the clean raw power this monster puts out!
Let me start by saying that I have been in the car audio game since my punch 150 would beat 4 12's to death and a Kenwood excelon CD player cost $700! That being said, this amp is a beast, period. I have it running 2 mtx 7512-22s (new 7500 series dual 2 ohm voice coil) rated at 750watts rms each. They're wired for 2 ohms at the amp with the gain 3/4 up, and the "equalizer knob half way. With those settings, and a 40hertz test tone, the amp puts out 66.33v AC! That translates to 2200watts continuous power! At a price point of well under $150, I'll take it. Nice clean and clear bass reproduction, no clipping, and after nearly 20 straight minutes of a subwoofer test that goes from 30hz to 130hz and back down repeatedly it wasn't even warm. I will be purchasing more products from you Rockville, the only thing I can not speak to thus far is durability, but with set screw type terminals, strapping capability, and self protection , I'd be willing to bet that it will last as long as you want it to, with the exception of installer errors. ... show more

  • Great product, great price! Period
No disappointments here! This is a great amp that packs a pretty hard punch. I don’t know how long these products will last at these low prices. I personally didn’t have high expectations from a brand I haven’t used before, but man was I surprised and pleased. Often you pay out the rear for quality equipment when it has a well known name attached to it. Better grab one or two of the Rockville line products before they start getting the recognition they deserve and start upping their prices. I don’t usually write reviews but that’s what swayed my purchase was reading good things about them. I would suggest this product to anyone looking to improve their sound without spending a fortune to do so. I previously ran the higher end brands line JL, Kenwood, and Alpine. This line is definitely close if not already in that league, but not the price. ... show more

  • Does Rated Power - Good quality Amp
This is as expected. No hiccups yet. It does its CEA rated power, the other specs don't matter. Fairly small unit too, mounted on a one 12" woofer box. The LED's are a nice subtle touch and the case for the amp it self is very simplistic and not overdone. Good design. Using it to put around 500-600RMS into a Dayton Audio 12" HO Dual 4 ohm Subwoofer in 1.85 cu ft. Puts more power than that woofer can handle but haven't checked it for clipping and don't want to blow my woofer. Look to put it on a scope soon. Also might upgrade since I have the head room. Stays cold to the touch. I found the screws for the remote knob a little long, which makes it hard to find a good place screw it in the plastic of my car without jutting into something in the dash or console. Other than that satisfied with my purchase. ... show more

  • Amazing for it price
Absolutely beats my 4000w max scar 12 more powerful than my power acoustic 7000w amp by a long shot

  • Very impressed
The media could not be loaded. I just installed the amp with my Rockville duel 8 inch subwoofer box it is just breaking in but I absolutely love it so far. I highly recommend buying it I used a splitter for my signal because I have a Rockville 8 inch with amp built in under my passenger seat so I split off the signal from the head unit I need longer RCA splitters but it sounds amazing.i have one more sub to install. definitely recommend it thanks Rockville audio and audio savings for everything. ... show more

  • Poor amp and poor company. Does not Honor 90 Day.
Was a great amplifier. The down falls to this amp are 1. the terminal for the power and ground are 4 gauge. I have 0 running through my car. And there are no vent areas. Other than that the amp powers my BAMF 10in subwoofer wired to 2 ohms with easy. I’m not sure on the exact power rating. Well after 1 month of use the amp is no good. Also this company does not Honor their 90 day money back guarantee, I wouldn't buy this amp especially if you live in a hot area. These amps over heat very easily, there are zero vent holes to allow any heat out. I highly recommend you go else when it comes to this company. Highly highly dissatisfied! ... show more

  • Stunned
I snagged this dB14 after a lot of back and forth with a couple different models of Rockville mono amps and let me tell you, this thing slaps! I have it hooked up to a K6-15 and holy $#*% I love it! Never overheating and never gone into protection mode. Nothing but A1 performance.

  • Great amplifier for the money
I've had this dB14 amp for 2 months now and I have had no issues with it at all. Got it wired with a 4 gauge Rockville wire kit and even the quality of the wire kit exceeded my expectations. The amp doesn't even get hot when pushing 800 watts RMS to my Skar SVR sub. This amp did cost me extra money cause I had to upgraded my 80 amp alternator to a 200 amp one. But this beast needs fed and it without a bigger alternator it will draw so much power my vehicle would start bogging down and losing power to the beat of the music. My car almost stalled out sitting at a stop sign. Well worth the money and any amplifiers I buy in the future will be CEA rated. I did like that Rockville included a birth certificate with the amplifier stating when the amplifier was made and the exact RMS wattage for the unit when it was tested. Mine was 1001 I think. Very happy with my purchase of this unit! ... show more
