I was a little hesitant to order this kit at first, mainly because I was not sure about the quality. But I am glad that I made the purchase. The outer jacket of the wire is more than thick enough for most tight, pinching areas. The power cable is long enough to run the entire length of my car. The wire is truly an 8 gauge and you do not get a small conductor and a quarter-inch of insulation. The only thing I wish is that the ground could be a bit longer than three feet. But I guess this is the standard. Overall, the kit is close to perfect, especially given the cost price. I highly recommend this kit and hope the info I provide can help future customers make the right decisions! ... show more

Quality of materials is standard. Come with everything you need to complete installation. Wires are suitable for good mid wattage amps. Cable matches thickness describe materials are soft but gets job done. It makes for good basic amp upgrade kit. I used this for a four ch amp install in an 07 Corolla. The quality of each individual component surpassed my expectations for a kit at this price point. I've paid almost double the price for other kits that were half the quality of this. Too bad Amazon has this way in the back of the search results b/c it deserves way more sales.
