A major piece, the bottom of the cabinet, came without predrilled holes. We have a partially assembled table. We sent an email to the manufacturer as noted on instructions and they asked if we couldn't just put it together using tools. We attempted, but we did not know where to place the holes, how far to drill, or what size of bits. I contacted them again and stated that we would ruin the entire table if we attempted this ourselves and we wanted the table to look as it is supposed to as we purchased. First, I don't think that should have been the response. Second, they haven't been very responsive since we asked them to please send us the piece predrilled or a new table to assemble or send someone out to assemble this one with experience. We cannot return the partially assembled table because we used wood glue on the pieces that were put together before we realized that this main piece was not predrilled. UDATE: After we drilled holes and put the product together without instructions or measurements as directed by the manufacturer, we could not get one of the shelves to fit. I wrote them again sending photos and saying that we wanted our money back and we could not send back this assembled (though not accurately) table. They responded that now they will push the factory to send out a replacement board. We cannot dismantle this table now as my husband used glue because he was not confident that his holes would hold. (We are not construction folks here. If we were, we would have built our own table. :) ) ... show more

While we love the finished product, under specifications on this end table it says NO assembly required. I went back and checked when it arrived in all those pieces. I had assured my husband he was not going to have to put it together. It took over 3 hours to put together. The diagram shows that each piece is marked, A, B, C, etc. Only one of ours had a marker which made it all even more difficult. Even though we do love the finished product, I can't recommend this due to the difficult assembly. I particularly looked for a table that did not have to be assembled. At our age, we do not want to put stuff together. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered because there were complaints about assembly difficulties but I didn't. But if you are handy and like a puzzle, go for it. ... show more

Glad it arrived 90% assembled. I followed the directions it was easy to put the legs on. I inserted the pegs and hand tightened the screws for the legs. Do not overtighten the screws for the legs. They will rip the anchor out and you will be sorry. That goes for all self assembly furniture these days. I put screw on sliders on the foot of each leg. Make sure to drill a pilot hole for the screw 1st or the recycled wood will split. The lift mechanism is strong and at first there was a SPROING noise. I cured this by using a pinpoint oiler at all the pivots joints and on the end of each spring. I have found the best way to open it is by placing my hands at the center of each end, left & right, and pulling towards myself while seated. To close I hold the bottom inside of the table and push the top forward slowly. You will reach a point where it will move easy so move your hand to avoid a pinch. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is and at the quality of this, especially for the price. Assembly took about 20-30 minutes, using a power drill and ratchet with an allen bit (similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/KAIFNT-Screwdriver-Ratchet-Wrench-34-Piece/dp/B07RN1VL18/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=allen+wrench+ratchet&qid=1643349969&sr=8-5). Nothing was damaged from shipping. No this isn't real wood and it is possible to damage it during assembly by over-tightening the screws or locking mechanisms, which I suspect has lead to some negative reviews. Having assembled items like this in the past I knew better than to try to crank anything down too tight. Just keep in mind everything should be tightened firmly, but not as hard as you can. You can hear the fibers ripping when it's snug, don't go any further. Overall it looks really good! I'm going through a divorce and trying to make my house MINE now, something more fitting for a bachelor, so I purchased several other items from this brand to match and the quality, look, and assembly are all similar. The color of each of the items match perfectly as well, so the whole room really ties together. Cons: They don't make a bedroom set. Now that I've assembled these items and have seen the quality for the money, I wish they made a bedroom set. ... show more

I purchased this item from Amazon Warehouse, used like new. I was very skeptical about doing this for the first time. Product was delivered on time in excellent condition. I have received new items in worse condition. Even received a photo of the item at my back door when delivered. The item is heavy but well packaged. All hardware included even a package of extras just in case. Just take your time and follow the instructions it will assemble beautifully. I used wood glue on the dowels and a little on the edges. Don’t over do the glue you don’t want it running down the pieces. It would also be very sturdy without glue. I am very pleased with this product looks nice and is a strong item when assembled properly. ... show more

Super sturdy and seems to be good quality! Had a couple scratches in it, like the one my picture, but it’s not noticeable cause of the wood color. Took me about an hour to put it together and the directions are all pictures. All and all I’m pretty impressed and am happy with the purchase!

No complaints about shipping or delivery. The table wood seems to be of quality and the instructions were easy to follow. The cam pins and locks seem to be of poor quality, after assembly the table wobbles and there is a slight shifting at every cam pin point. I have double checked, undone, and redone every cam lock but the result is the same. All table pieces are locked into place and don't budge if I try pull out but entire table still wobbly and shows shifting in each area where the cam pins are. ... show more
