I find it comfortable once you get used to the lower arm position. Rocks satisfactorily. When you assemble it, don't tighten seat to support bolts all the way until you tighten wooden rockers completely as they dictate where the sliding seat bolts need to be positioned. Then tighten them as the last step. Also, the L- wrench handle is the long end, enter the short end into the bolts and use a glove. The wrench ends are sharp. The chair's sturdy, and the fabric is first class. The cushioning passable. Good: Fabric A+ Sturdy Rocking action passable Lower center of gravity putting weight on bottom instead of back helping with rocking action. Bad: Difficult to assemble (I needed hubby's help to attach seat back, and then bolted myself in about 30 minutes. Arm position lower but I got used to it quickly. May be more comfortable for taller people as my shorter husband didn't like it. Rocking just okay; I found shoes helpful as I do on all rockers. Certainly better than several foldable rockers I tried that didn't rock at all and were too tall. I ordered a Giantex with arms to compare. If it's still going in 3 months I'll update to 4 stars or return. ... show more
