I love the way this turned out. I stained a few boards more of a brown color to match the interior colors of my house. Easy and turned out beautiful in my opinion. I used a brad nailer and the boards went up fast. I have used this product in numerous houses and it never disappoints.

This turned out really nice. Very pleased and ecstatic with the results. The variation in color and grain features is super amazing. Yes the widths of the boards do differ but this is where you have to take your time, measure each one, start off level and kind of just fit all together. These are all planed so they fit nice and flat to a wall. There is also some variation in the wood texture, thickness, etc. but this is what makes it unique. It’s barn wood so there is going to be differences in everything but, that’s what gives it character. This is about a week’s worth of work doing a little each day on one accent wall and one entryway wall. If you’re a DIY’er like me, go slow but steady, make sure you start level and work from there. Was looking for some easy, already milled barnwood for an accent wall. This fit the bill perfectly and was easy to work with. THIS IS RECLAIMED BARNWOOD. You can expect to see some knot holes, old nail holes, etc. That is the point! If you are looking for perfectly manicured wood with no imperfections, look elsewhere. I ordered their largest size on Amazon and got a great assortment of different colored boards, as you can see from the picture. For the most part they are all milled well and pretty square, but you still should use a level when putting them up. They were all planed to the same thickness with very minimal bowing. A few boards had a slight cup to them, which would be expected (and adds to the look). I hung mine with a brad nailer instead of construction adhesive, so it could be removed without tearing up the entire wall if a future owner does not want it. The boards all stay in place with no problems. Would 100% buy again if needed. ... show more

I love the look of this product and it is easy to put up. But there are a few things I found that gave me some problems. First not all boards are the same width. They do tell you this in the instructions but I found out the hard way. Also the boards are not always straight. I have gaps between some of the planks. So make sure the wall is painted a dark color before applying the boards otherwise you'll see the wall behind the boards. And like other reviews have said most of the boards are grey weathered not to many browns. I had to use a brush and lightly brush with different stains to give a brown or red color to some of the boards so the wall wouldn't look so grey. Otherwise it's a nice product. ... show more

This was so easy to put up as per other reviews I painted the wall black beforehand. We laid it all out on the floor and I nailed it my husband did cuts and my daughter and son in law handed me pieces as they were laid out. It went incredibly fast this way and looks amazing!!! I just need some decor to finish it off but everyone who’s seen it is in love! ... show more

I can’t return it because I bought the fuse box months ago so I’d lose even more money and time. Somehow I have to make this work. As you can see there is overly cracked and rotted as well as black tape placed on the override of gaping holes! I’ll need to sand and pray. Then fill in holes with epoxy which will hopefully work considering how dry these are I’ll need to seal each hole really well first! 😩 I just wanted to purchase and slap up! At this rate I could have just used old fence pickets we tore down! ... show more

Why I LOVE Rockin Woods nailup barnwood. Is the wood perfect, exactly straight and without flaws?? NO!! Is it thin?? YES!! It's supposed to be thin,rustic,different shades of Grey's, brown's and hints of black. It's NOT supposed to be perfect. I ordered 3 boxes for a total of 312 Sq feet. Seriously people, read the description before you order it and then complain that it has flaws. It's very thoughtful they tape black paper behind knots, because then you don't have to paint your surface you are nailing it too. If you want perfect, go to big box store and buy the fake crap from China!! ... show more

I have worked with Real Weathered Barn Boards and these, the color tones can be brushed off. It appears some sort of dye or thinned out water based stained. Still looks good, at that price it should be real.
