The outer material is the 420D nylon that the bar mittens can provide a perfect windproof space for your hand. Support using it under 20 degrees F in winter. (Notice: Using with the winter gloves to get best warm performance.)
  • THE BEST WINDPROOF MITTS: We used three structures to prevent the wind entering the mittens. First, we add a small elastic polyester on arms that the wind would not enter from the forearm. Second, there are two closures on the handlebar, one is the velcro straps, the other is the elastic band with buckle.

I got them for my winter commute in Denver, Colorado that could get to 10-20F during commute. I don't bike commute if it gets colder than that. These are BIG pouches and provided great wind protection. Because they are insulated, I placed a couple of rechargeable hand warmers to keep the air in the pouches warmer. Instead of wearing a thick mittens, I could ride fairly comfortably with two cheap Costco polyester gloves in 20+F degrees. I put them on my ebike. I peeled back my left hand pouch so that I could see the display; otherwise, it would be a guessing game on how much battery charge left. I like them and they are good value and essential for winter riding, especially for those who want to keep their hands from freezing. ... show more

I've used the basic neoprene pogies on my fatbike for the last few years and got these insulated ones for my ebike commuter. These are much warmer than the neoprene pair and great at the high speeds of an ebike. There is plenty of room for brakes and shifters (much more than the neoprene pogies). They are a bit floppy and slightly harder to get my hands in, but still not bad. For the high effort and slow speeds of fatbiking, I think this insulated set would be too warm unless it's close to 0 deg F. ... show more

Fits bars fairly well. Gives good access to cockpit while keeping hands warm. Add a hand warmer for added warmth.

I use these on my ebay during the winter and I love them! I used them on my Rad Runner eBike. These are so much safer and comfortable than using bulky gloves! HIGHLY Recommended.

Fitness as an upgrade to the cheap neoprene ones. Those work fine but these are way better. Much easier to put on and take off due to elastic cord and barrel retainer aided by Velcro strips. Great pogies, these kept my hands warm on a 6 degree ride outside of Minneapolis the other day. Probably adds 40 - 50 degrees to what my gloves can handle. Quality is decent for the price.
