  • Good but not great.
Love the kit but drums could be more durable, sturdy, and maybe even heavier. The peddle is the worst though. I remember the drums being better for the PS3 kit.

  • I've had to send the kit back TWICE due to it not working properly
Rock Band is an awesome group/party game and there aren't enough of those out there. However, I wasn't happy with this bundle. The very small library of songs that came with the game are unimpressive and make me feel like I've been cheated a bit, especially as someone who has owned every Rock Band game since its inception. I feel like we shouldn't have to buy songs that came with the previous games or have to drop an extra $20 on DLC songs just to feel like I have a decently sized library of songs. But most importantly, I noticed that this drum set, once again, doesn't register all of my hits. The foot pedal does not seem to be affected by the calibration settings and registers WAY too late or sometimes not at all. The yellow pad doesn't always respond as well. Apparently, Harmonix went with a different builder for their instruments this time and at least visually this is obvious. Just like every other Rock Band bundle though, the drums are not perfect. For the price we're paying and this being a NEW bundle and not used, the instruments should work. ... show more

  • Great for parties
This is such a fun game to play with family and friends. I find myself playing it with my three year old all the time. He likes to sing (which is adorable but hurts the ears a little). It is also a great game for social gatherings. We played this all night at my wife's birthday party and after a few drinks anyone will think they can sing. Makes for a very fun evening. One note I would make is be ready for some lag on the vocals. Unless you have a dedicated optical cable or a good receiver you pretty much have to turn vocals all the way down. That is why I will only give it 4 stars. ... show more

  • Rock Out and Have Fun!
Whether it's Rockin out with your friends / family or by yourself. Rock Band 4 is an awesome game. The Rock Band Rivals pack comes with a PS4 Wireless and "Fold-able" Fender Jaguar inspired guitar. The original Rock Band 4 comes with Over 60 new tracks and more than 1,500 songs. Plus you can import your previously purchased Rock Band into music library However this is Rock Band Rivals and it includes all of that plus DLC, so to get the complete Rock Band Experience this is the best option. What is special about the Rock Band Band Kit is it includes a set of Wireless Drums, Mic, Guitar and the Game, It's especially for those who want the true band experience and enjoy multiplater. And if you don't like the Blue Jaguar guitar you have the options to purchase different style guitars, and more. This for me is the best Band Simulator ever made and I would highly recommend this as a gift of just for having fun ... show more

  • I am disappointed :(
I was looking forward to this as I haven't bought since PS3 Rock Band. The song list is meh and I guess I missed out on being able to at least export the original songs. I really didn't want to have to spend a lot just to get a decent song list, so that was too bad. The drums seem okay and not sure if I'm out of practice/suck or if it's a drum lapse issue. The guitar - I love the idea of the foldable guitar. This is a fun game to play in groups so that's helpful for travel. However, my fender did not work out of the box. The lights briefly flashed and then never came on again. I tried PDP customer 'support' but that was a joke. After repeatedly calling them within support hours and constantly getting a message saying that I was calling out of their hours, I finally gave up. I decided to go ahead and return the box as my silly expectation is that the whole bundle should work and not just pieces. ... show more

  • I love Rock Band games and never owned one
I love Rock Band games and never owned one. Got a PS4 now and decided to get one of these for myself. I had to return a set because it wasn't detecting correctly, had no issues with the exchange and wasn't put through a hard process to do an exchange. To give a review on this product I enjoy the new guitar solo system where I can make up solos on the guitar, instead of the previous Rock Band versions where you are scripted. The scripted ones do pop up on previous Rock band songs so you can have a mix of both worlds. The only con I have with this game is that unless you have the songs to carry over from the previous Rock Bands you are limited to around 90 songs and I've played far enough to see you don't unlock new songs as you go. ... show more

  • Old Vet comming out of the wood works
So a little background I had Rockband 1 & 2 and was an expert drummer except for the hardest of hardest songs. I'm getting it up and running was a little confusing I had to go online and look at a couple of things just to get it paired. In the end it works like barring any other Bluetooth device to your PlayStation 4. The quality of the instruments seem the same as they've always been pretty much. I'm not a fan of the foldable neck guitar it seems like it could get a little loose and wobbly and probably break away but I don't play guitar much thats the fiances job. The drum heads have a little more padding than what I was used to with previous rockbands. They all seem to work as intended. I'm missing a lot of notes on hard, but i havent played in 6 years. Software wise I hate the manual calibration. There is not a way to test your manual calibrations without getting out of callibration settings going into another mode, choosing a song and waiting to play it. Seems like I remember Rockband 2 having a testing ground built into the callibration menu. Overall I am pleased so far but will update if something changes. January 2nd 2017: Things are getting very bad. I will change my rating from 4 stars to 2. The drum kit is not counting many notes now and the red and yellow pads stopped registering hits at all tonight. This was while the kick pedal, blue, and green pads were still working. There is also a real bad stuttering that comes and goes in the note scrolling that was not there before. This started about 2 weeks ago. ... show more
