    • the adjustable stem did raise the bar and shorten the reach.

the design does allow the bar to be raised to optional heights which also changes the reach for the rider. The only issue was the small amount of looseness between the two halves.

Product arrived on time and well packaged. Installation was easy. However it makes creaking noise when pressure is applied to ether side of handlebar. it seems secure but mildly worrisome that a future point it might break. This is exactly what I was looking for- raise the handle bar by desired inches for me about 5. I got stem 31.8 and length 90 mm. Originally I hit the button for the 25.4 stem. Obviously it did not fit. If any one desires higher handle bar positions look for 110mm and higher.
