RIVIKO’S Love Heart Birthstone Necklace on 925 Sterling Silver is very gorgeous and made of high quality Cubic Zirconias and well-polished, weighted sterling silver. It’s just that the pendant is a little too big, too bulky for my taste, especially since I’m petite.

    • Beautiful Necklace, but the Design Could Use More Refinement and Flair

This is a beautiful necklace and I liked that the pendant is appropriately sized enough so that other people can clearly see you wearing it, as opposed to some necklaces that have such small, understated pendants that don't really stand out at all. Visually, it's clear, and the December blue stone is nice and vibrant. The chain is also an appropriate length, and the necklace comes packaged in a great blue box with a velvet backer. HOWEVER, for the price listed, I'd say that the necklace really COULD use more flair. The design is basically two intertwined hearts, that are pretty proportional and with a birthstone in the middle. I've seen lots of similar heart designs on necklaces on Amazon before, and because of that, I almost think this necklace wouldn't inspire many compliments or really a second look. The designer should have considered adding some distinctiveness to the design, such as making one or both hearts a little titled, abstracting the design, changing the proportions, etc. Currently, it's a very conventional, almost boring design and it might please someone with more conventional or conservative tastes, but it wouldn't be for someone who likes unique pieces of jewelry. ... show more
