I wanted something for the spring and saw this at a reasonable cost. I have bought from Riviera before and know that they run small and do shrink. So I went up a size and it fits perfect. It's a rayon type fabric and not polyester, thank gawd.

    • Recommend the Denim Color
I bought this in the denim color and liked it so much I also ordered it in navy and black. A word of warning about the navy and black fabrics: they bleed (and bleed and bleed). I washed them many times (at least a dozen) with and without detergent and the water never did run clear. I suppose they will stop bleeding eventually, but, in the meantime, I'll need to be careful of anything the fabric comes in contact with so there's no color transfer. Note: I only had problems with the navy and black. The denim was fine. As far as the cut, they are mostly true to size. Mine were a little snug in the bust and underarm area, but I'm large so that wasn't a big surprise. The fabric feels nice, and I was satisfied with the quality of the construction/stitching. ... show more

    • Cool, comfy, stylish - what’s not to like?
LOVE it! Can’t see through the navy except, perhaps, if standing directly in front of bright light and even then you can see only shadows. I washed mine as soon as I received it in cold water with regular laundry soap and some baking soda. The smell came out, the color did not bleed onto the embroidery, and there was minimal shrinkage. The rayon was crinkly after washing but, if you like a smoother, more floaty look, just iron it. Otherwise, wash, line dry and go! Time will tell if I get more than one season out of it, but I really don’t expect more at this price. ... show more

    • Very cute on but poor quality
The dress is of poor quality. Stitching is off, there are rust stains, and it bleeds color after repeated rinsing. I bought 3 of them to keep one which was still of poor quality. Took it on a trip and didn't wear it. Maybe someday

    • NOT colorfast, poor sewing.
Beware, do not wash this with anything else! The dye is not colorfast at all and everything will be a purplish-blue. It smelled funny when I received it so I read the directions and decided to go on the safe side and wash in cold water with woolite. Thank goodness I did. I did multiple rinses and it took at least three to stop the dye from running so much. I fear wearing it is going to stain either me or my under clothing. I liked the style but the sewing was not good either when I turned it inside out. Would not buy again. Too bad, I love rayon and was looking for a caftan for the summer. ... show more

East fit, flowing, flattering, lightweight and perfect for any occasion...shopping, beach, dinner, picnic, or just plain lounging. I suggest a slip underneath but that is optional. Previous reviews have referenced the offensive smell. I will say that there is a slight smell but that happens with many items I've purchased from other companies as well. I simply air it out and find the smell dissipates quickly. Sometimes the item may require a bit of disinfectant spray. Quite pleased with this purchase. I may purchase another color. ... show more
