    • Almost perfect
I've tried most fitness trackers. To me the most important things are steps, stress and sleep tracking. Unfortunately this ring was a little too bulky and the sleep was not accurate. Steps were a little off but I didn't even try to calibrate that and it was not enough to worry about. (I have a different tracker that is nearly double what you actually do, so this ringconn was better than that!_). It was nice that it held it's charge and when it was time to charge it again after around 7 days, it quickly, in about 30 minutes was fully charged again. The ring did not irritate my skin (both apple and fitbit infered light causes me problems). This is a nice ring, sometimes it's on sale so that's good to know. I paid $239 but it's $199 now. The app and directions were easy, user friendly, FREE! If they could redesign it for women and make it thinner I would prefer this over all of my other fitness devices! ... show more

First of all I picked the first gen RingConn as my budget option for a smart ring. No subscription, ring fits and looks good, all sorts of useful information. It fits super well and I don’t feel it while I’m sleeping. It has been fantastic to be able to see information about my health in such an easy layout. The app works well and it connects with no issues on demand. Lots of useful information if you know how to read it! You can even export your data to organize it in your own way as well! I would definitely pick this ring over others as a budget minded and someone who likes data. Ring looks nice and nobody even realizes it’s a smart ring unless the LEDs are flashing but as I said before I honestly forget this is on half the time. ... show more

    • Good app, no paywall, accurate data, great battery life...
The app is quite detailed enough for the average person. You DON'T have to pay a monthly fee to see your own data, and the battery life is great. Data accuracy squares with my Samsung watch 5 and the ring is both comfortable to wear all night and won't have to spend time on the charger just when you want to go to bed. I'm getting more than a week on a single battery charge. I love the charger box, like an earbud case, where you get several charges before you have to plug the case in, so you could travel for weeks without plugging in. If you're worried about scratching the finish, you can buy silicone ring covers to wear to the gym or when you're doing manual labor. Runs a tiny bit smaller then my regular ring size so best to get the sizer kit. It's cheap and ships quick. If you're in the process of losing a lot of weight or your fingers get thinner in the winter cold, you might consider sizing to fit your middle or ring finger in summer and index in winter or when you've met weight goal. If this is not a consideration, I find it most comfortable on the index finger. ... show more

    • Wish it took my temperature
I like this ring for the fact that it tracks my sleep and it has a long charge life. My watch can track my sleep but it always dies before I even go to bed so that’s useless. When I ordered this I read that they were working on the temperature feature but so far no. It tracks your temp when you’re asleep but I want to know other times. Especially when I’m not feeling well it would be nice to know if I’ve got a fever. I do like the fact that there’s no subscription to use the app like other rings do. That was the main selling point for me. Also the stress level is nice to know. And it gave me an alert the other day that my heart rate was elevated. I wouldn’t have known otherwise. So it’s a pretty good ring. Get the temperature feature to work and I’ll give it 5 stars. ... show more
