I’ve only had this for a few months but much like others, it started flashing intermittently or just doesn’t work at all. No customer service to help either :( Update: They reached out to me after this review and sent me a new light. They proved me wrong -customer service was very good, fast and responsive.     • Stopped working after just 2 months. Junk!
Buyer beware... Stopped working after just 2 months. It won't stay on. When I press the power button it turns on and right back off. Complete junk. I tried to get support to see if I could get it replaced since 2 months is not a reasonable amount of time for something to work. I realize things don't last forever anymore but it was 2 MONTHS not even a year or 2. They just said it can't be returned anymore, so too bad I'm stuck with this broken piece of junk. It was plugged into a surge protector so nothing happened to it. It's just junk. I highly recommend finding one that doesn't have this issue. Now I see other reviews that say the same.     • Working great for Zoom calls and videos!
I primarily bought this to use during my client sessions and any Zoom calls, as well as video tutorials I create. My home office is a little bit dark, and the overhead lighting was making me look baggy eyed. PROS: Easy to set up, plug in to my laptop and go. Love the 3 light settings - cool, warm, warmest - and the brightness options. I can adjust it based on the time of day and amount of natural lighting already coming in to the room. It makes a big difference on my Zoom / Skype / FaceTime calls, I look so much clearer and - with the right make up (think cheek & nose highlighter!) this light really makes my skin pop and I look more awake and vibrant. Funny enough I've even had a few clients say "wow you look great!" on the camera, so I know its the added lighting. CONS: Its a touch lightweight, but its workable. I've recommended this light to friends - I'm just hoping it lasts well. Great option for those who regularly do video calls, web tutorials, YouTube videos, etc. ... show more

    • Great customer service - replaced for free after issues!
Update 11/21/2022: The customer service at this company is great! They reached out to me directly asking if they could send me a new light after I had some issues with my previous one. Since the first one I had did make a significant difference in how my Zoom calls went, I know I'm going to be happy having another one again. Especially as we move into the darker winter months! I really appreciated the customer service. -- Original Review: -- I loved this ring light -- it's a great brightness, really helped my Zoom calls, and was all together perfect for what I needed. Sure it had some minor issues, like I could not for the life of me extend the pole higher (the metal locking knob just straight-up did not work, and refused to ever tighten around the pole, so I could not extend it). But otherwise I was pretty happy with it, and it made my work videos much better. But then the big problem was that the ring light just 100% stopped working one day. That was about 5 months after I bought it, so outside of the return window. I'm pretty unhappy about that, both because it means it was a waste of my money, and also because environmentally, I do not like the idea of just trashing plastic/electronic items a few months after buying them. It's so wasteful and bad for the earth. I wish there was a way to fix this thing and make it work again, but it seems just fully busted. I'm pretty sad about that. ... show more

    • Light Works Great!
The light works great! I use it to jump start my circadian rhythm every morning because I'm up before sunrise. Had a brief issue with it stopping working but I changed the usb adapter and it starting working again. Highly recommend!

    • Worked great for the first 10 months.
This worked great for zoom calls. However I’m on calls multiple times a day, everyday. It stopped working 10 months in. I can’t fault it for the price and for the amount of use it received. Sad it no longer works.

After reading the reviews of this and other desktop light rings, I was not sure how well they work. Since Covid, I have been able to work from home and do a lot of conference calls. I have had this light for over a year and it works great. The stand is weighted enough that a small bump to it and it doesn't fall over. The multiple setting is great as my office has sunlight during the days so I can adjust the light to match my needs. I would buy this again and recommend it to anyone who was looking for one. ... show more

    • Great, for a little while
I loved this light when I first got it. It fits perfectly on my desk and has worked great for virtual meetings. I love that the stand is clean lines instead of a tripod and it’s very sturdy. However, just shy of 6 months since purchasing, the light is giving me issues. It doesn’t always turn on and when it does, it’ll readjust brightness or shut off entirely on its own. It has quickly gone from being fully reliable to being quite unreliable almost overnight. I believe it’s something with the “remote” which is a wired remote with buttons to adjust the light. I guess the switch inside has gone bad, but it’s still enough to disrupt my work. I’m disappointed that it didn’t even last 6 months (and I didn’t use it at all in June and July because I was on vacation), so I don’t feel I got my money’s worth. ... show more
