I bought bc I have smaller hands & my joysticks on my ps4 controllers FINALLY started drifting after 2+ years of heavy gaming. These analog sticks have no drift yet but being such a small controller, the range/circumference in which the analog sticks can move, is significantly smaller. This leads to being a much smaller move = a larger adjustment on screen. I thought lowering the in game sensitivity would help, & it does but it’s not really a perfect solution. The Nacon Pro Compact is a mediocre controller overall. It has decent assembly quality considering the price and I believe it's an okay value for people with SMALL hands (DO NOT buy this if you have kinda small or medium hands) and is basically a small version of the DualShock 4 controller for PlayStation. However, there are a handful of things that I have noticed while using the controller that make me wish I had returned it when I had the chance. See below. The Xbox Series X|S wireless controllers from Microsoft would be a better purchase than this because they are slightly smaller than the Xbox One controllers but are far better than this Nacon controller. - too much space between triggers and bumpers - not enough travel on triggers; no travel toggle - the view button placement is poor because the left joystick is in the way - the textured plastic is good for grip but is often uncomfortable - the cable is VERY stiff and hard to work with. It is long, thick, and non-detatchable - the joysticks have different textures - the ABXY buttons are awkwardly large when considering this is supposed to be a small controller ... show more

I got this controller because based on the reviews I thought the controller would be smaller than the regular Xbox one controller. It is not smaller, just thinner in the handles. The sticks and buttons are the same distance apart as the normal controller but the part where you grip it isn't as big and bulky. Good for larger hands but small hands like mine still cramp trying to use it. I was looking for a smaller controller and this wasn't it. I will say that the cord is really nice with the cloth wrapping and I feel it would last a long time. I won't be using it bc of the cramping issue but I gave it to my toddler and he loves it ... show more

I bought this controller for my daughter for her 7th birthday. She's being showing an interest in gaming but finds the standard Xbox game controller too large for her hands. Unfortunately this controller isn't "compact" enough to solve the problem. Can't really speak to it overall quality, since no-one has used it yet, but maybe I try using it as an alternative to my usual controller and update with a more comprehensive review as well as a size comparison. ... show more

Our 8 year old gets limited XBOX time each week and the time he was able to spend was spent struggling with an adult sized controller. I have no idea why they don’t make a kids size. This could be a bit smaller, but at least he isn’t struggling to hold it and reach all the buttons.
