This product did not remove the rust stains on our driveway or sidewalk. However, I give this product 3 stars because we recently moved into the house and I am unsure if the rust stains were caused by well water or not. It may work great for the proper rust stains but it is definitely not going to work on all stains so I have looked into other options and will be trying super iron out as someone suggested. However, in the treated areas, the concrete is much whiter/cleaner than the untreated areas (concrete is only 3 years old). I ordered the smaller powder form and it did not go as far as I thought it would (half gallon only allowed me to do one side of my sidewalk and a little bit of the curb). I would not buy this product again but maybe this would work better for others. ... show more

After reading the positive reviews for this item, I went with it versus other options. It works pretty well. I used it on concrete rust stains. The strange part about it is that the results aren't very noticeable until it is dry. When I used it on the first spots, I wasn't seeing any difference, so I used a brush to help, which I found out later is pointless as it works by a chemical reaction and not by a cleansing action. I proceeded to use it on the targeted areas around my property and at first was fairly disappointed as I couldn't really tell any difference. This product description never warned that it cannot be used indoors. Outdoors, it can't be used on any surface except cement. I have no cement. It is useless to me but CANNOT BE RETURNED. REALLY? DISGRACEFUL!

Wish it did better to remove the iron from lawn fertilizer that got on my sidewalks, BUT this did fade the stains off some and also cleaned my sidewalks quite well. Been waiting for the price to come down & will buy again.

I bought this product to clean my sidewalk of stains from fertilizer based on many positive reviews. I mixed the container in a gallon tank sprayer per instructions and sprayed the affected areas with enough solution to make the concrete wet. Ten minutes later I sprayed it off with my hose. The concrete was a lighter color, the stain was not. It simply didn't work. Perhaps the stains were too heavy and may need repeat treatments, or my fertilizer stain was more than just rust. I could not tell of there was any effect from the treatment. I am now trying to figure out what to do for plan B. ... show more

It arrived as one solid chunk. The picture is after I took a screwdriver to try to break it up. Under the pieces you see continues as a solid chunk to chop up another day. The product does work fairly well once you get a chunk out and soak it in water and put it on the rust spot. It took most of the rust spots out of my driveway and worked pretty well on the rust caused by well water. ... show more
