We ordered my daughter’s size because she didn’t want it to be baggy at all. She wears an 8 typically and size 1 shoe. It’s exactly the correct tight fit - but it is a little sheer. You can see through it in some places and the bottom is tight so the seams are stretched. Need solid, dark underwear and a tank or camisole. My petite 6 year old can wear a 5T and size 6 is usually a little too long - she's about 42 in. and 40 lb. Size small is very tight around the torso and snug everywhere else. The small's built-in hands are kind of weird - the fingers aren't long enough so the hand looks like it has webbing. And the mask is way too tight. Size medium fits a little loose and accommodates leggings and an undershirt for cooler weather. The leg length appears to be true to size, but the torso is short. The M torso fits a child who can wear 5T or 6. The medium's mask is still too tight. Both S and M are sewn for children with bigger hips so the fabric puffs out a little on the sides. Recommend sizing up at least one size, two sizes if child is thicker. The listing images for this and other similar suits make the material look see through (like the photo is taken with a bright flash), but the suit is actually shaded (printed?) to look slightly like a torso including some indentations for stomach muscles and a belly button/line, and a muscular chest. And, there seems to be dark shading on the front and backside, which other reviewers have said looks like a thong. The shading is more obvious with the snug size small (see attached photo - no flash). Overall, the quality is good. The hidden zipper gets caught easily in the swimsuit-like material, but I'm glad it has a zipper instead of velcro. There is no velcro anywhere - so no snagging. I've machine washed (cold, delicate) and machine dried (no heat) and it came out the same as it went in. ... show more

This was perfect for my little one….I’m sure it fits as expected but the one I got was a little snug for my daughter because I purposely sized down due to shipping…. Her current size would’ve took almost 3 weeks to get here…. And it STILL LOOKED AWESOME…. 0 complaints 10/10 My other daughter’s costume was PERFECT as well and she definitely got into character as soon as she put it on….
