  • Great case, plenty of cooling, minor quibbles only.
I was intrigued by this case when I saw that it had room for plenty of cooling (including for room for 2 rear 140mm fans), so I came up with some plans for a fan configuration given the marketing images on Amazon and decided to roll the the dice on this one -- and I'm happy to report that with a few quibbles I'm darned happy with it, and will likely buy another for my next rig as well. The pics on here really don't explain everything but maybe these pros and cons will be handy for someone on the fence. PROS: -Lots of fans -- including ~5-6 RGB fans and a RBG controller that it came with (but which I opted to sell off and buy some others that I liked (since I'm not into RGB myself). -Room even for more fans than is even listed on this page, seriously, you could fit some on the top without any issues at all. -Room for bottom mounted fans to blow fresh air up at your GPU -- which is awesome, actually. -A PSU space that's actually above the motherboard rather than below-- so it keeps a decently warm component separate -- something that I have no idea why we don't see more of out there. -A vertical space above the motherboard for additional fans. -Great build quality, it doesn't feel cheap and there aren't any sharp edges to content with. -It's quiet too. CONS: -The aforementioned "vertical space above the motherboard for additional fans" doesn't have it's mesh lined up perfectly for an 240 AIO radiator unit -- I really wanted to place my AIO up there but there but I couldn't fit every single screw needed, so it's on like 6 of 8; still plenty stable for something that's not moving but I didn't like running into that. With that said, if you put 2 fans up there, or planned to use a 120/140 AIO unit, you'd have zero problems doing so. -I can't quite put my finger on it but the cable management spaces could be a little neater. There's still plenty of room but it felt a little awkward. OTHER NOTES: -I know that says this limitation in the description, but I would have liked to have seen space for more than 2x 3.5 HDDs. With a slight modification I'd bet the manufacturer could have swung that. -The feet on the thing are a little on the short side if you're going to place it on a thick carpet. I ended up putting a small flat surface under mine. Also, I'm well aware this this is probably a trade-off that some people would or would not appreciate, so I get it. -There should really be more pictures of this case on Amazon than what the manufacturer actually put out. So performance-wise, I ran Passmark's benches on the final product and found that I had 9-15% better performance on my components compared to the average, and that's with absolutely no overclocking. All I can chalk that up to is the cooling itself -- so thank you Raidmax! By the way, you can find the manufacturer's page on this one by searching for "Raidmax Phoenix A17". Overall, I'm giving this a 4/5 because it's not really perfect but it's pretty darned great and practically unbeatable for the price. ... show more

  • FYI case and fan only.
The media could not be loaded. Overall it's a big and sturdy case. I know the description only mentions case and fan, but the pictures make it seem like you would get some argb led strips and the back panel would have lcd/argb/acrylic piece that looks like trees or mountains. Both of which are not included if you were curious. Besides that it's a pretty big case, great for beginner custom tubing or trying to cram all those argb cables and daisy chains in the back panel. The location for the the psu is also convenient and spacious unlike in some mid towers where the wires would be crammed between your hdd trays and psu itself. If you were planning to install a 480mm radiator in the front for some reason, the case frame around the psu is and has to be removed. Which is not ideal, as all the psu wires will be exposed. ... show more

  • Great space no argb sync
Soild case for room and easy to remove, wished it would have came in white with non smoky glass but it’s definitely a keeper! Great cooling. Solid for the price
