I turned 1/2 of my garage into my personal gym. And these mats are my knee savers. And not just for kneeling - but for walking! And Heavy cardio. I'm 6'2" so I wanted a big mat. I think this is big enough while still being easy enough to role up and put away. The mat isn't very cushioned but I'm doing mostly kettle bell workouts on it and I prefer the stability. It is cushioned enough that if I sit in such a way as my boney ankles are touching then they are comfortable. The mat also seems like it will be very durable. I am grateful for the extra effort, and consideration demonstrated by the person who delivered it to my door. It was actually too heavy for me to carry the distance from the lockers to my apartment. It also came much earlier than the expected delivery date. The mat is sturdy and does not move when I am using it for aerobics. I’ve owned this mat for less than a year and it is literally falling apart. Little black flecks of rubber are everywhere- in my carpet, on my yoga mats (which I lay over this one to actually get knee protection) and it comes off on my hands when working out.
