    • Better than original?

There were some reviews that said they did not like this remote but I like it over the original one. Here's why: Button press does click loud but I like that feeling of knowing I did press it hard enough and it is working. Button response is quicker than original and I'm not sure if adding the new remote slowed down the old one. Someone try comparing the old remote button responses before programming the new and see if you notice a difference. I prefer to use the new one over the original because of this. Only issue I have from the new remote is the buttons are not exactly in the same place as the original and causes you to search for the button such as the TV guide button which I used frequently. ... show more

Lack of instruction with the remote was a big problem. Arrived in bubble wrap. 2 remotes, Nothing else. No paperwork at all. After spending 20 min. googling how to connect this remoteall i could find was how to connect voice remotes. I tried the pairing remote option on my tv. Again only voice remote pairing. It did tell me if it didnt have thehole by the power button to try the pairing method on the left. So i did. Didnt work. At this point i needed to walk away. Next morning went back to amizon to just return them. As a last ditch effort i looked the remotes up again to see if there was instructions. Scrolling to look for detail info. I find the details stating just put batteries in and its ready to go. REALLY!!!! Im 56 so maybe this is a generational issue but all the information i needed to know thos remote was the one i needed was on the screen it opened to. So i assumed the instructions for the pairing would come in the box like everything else ive purchased all my life. Kind of think most people would consider the insert batteries and go to be the best feature of this device. Should be one of the first things you read on the screen it opens to. That being said..... REMOTE ITSELF IS SPECTACULAR. Wonderfuly easy to set up. Works the same as the remote I replaced so ease of use is a given. ... show more
