We purchased this remote after our kids dropped ours WAY too many times.This remote control worked right away. The buttons match our previous remote, but we have noticed that sometimes they seem to stick/ have a delayed response. Overall it was inexpensive and does the job.

In March of 2023 my dog chewed up the remote control that came with my LG Smart TV. At that point I ordered the cheapest replacement with 4+ stars on Amazon. After about 5 months the left arrow wasn't working very well. By December it was almost impossible to use. I finally broke down in January and ordered this remote. It was a little more expensive, but not much. Since the cheap one had failed so quickly it was an easy decision to spend a few more bucks (literally, only $7 more). As soon as I opened the package I knew this remote was WAY better than the previous one. It looks better, and it feels more solidly made.
