I really enjoy this gymnastic mat from Rep Fitness. I have been using it with my daughter to practice handstands and other balancing moves and holds. It replaced an other mat we had and I can tell you the difference is sticking. The mat is dense enough that the hands don't dig into it but soft enough that it can catch nicely any fall (falling face first is not a great experience ;) ) The quality of the mat itself is outstanding and it has been dealing with our abuse pretty nicely so far. We use it both inside and outside so we move it quite a lot. It is a little heavier than expected but the weight is still very manageable. This is a very supportive mat that's been great for core work and gymnastics. I was looking for something to use at home that would provide a bit more cushioning. It's also been great for pylometric exercises such as 180 jump squats. I use it for everything - it maintains it's shape well and feels good. Packs up well and is a good size to store.
