Only complaint is that the sockets are not labeled them selves only the slot in which they sit in the container is labeled. So once they’re out of the container, there’s no way to identify their size.

I've used these several times now, and they have held up well to normal mechanic use. It's nice that all of them are the same 3/8 drive, so you don't have to guess if a smaller one drops to 1/4 or something. They are all the same. The carry case does a decent job of keeping them organized. Sometimes they come loose inside, but for the most part, it does it's job. I have not yet had an instance where I had a really stuck bolt, so I don't know what the ultimate breaking point of these is. At one point I chucked one up in a vice to see if I could break it, and I couldn't. I realize that isn't a scientific test, but they at least seem pretty durable. Not case-hardened-peanut-butter like some cheap tools. These seem pretty sturdy. ... show more

    • How many sets of hex bits do I need? At least 1 more
So I have a pile of hex bits, Wera hex+ L wrenches, 3/8" impact bits, tamper bits from neiko, etc. None of them are long enough to reach into deep deep holes that you find on things like spindle blocks for CNC quick changers (to change the bit during a program). When you are faced with a cap head screw super deep in a hole you're going to wish you had these so you don't have to weld a bit to a piece of rebar 😂! Pros: Good steel, a little flexible so they don't outright sheer part which is good on a long driver like this. Nice carrying case that's.the same size as my other socket hex bits. A wide range of sizes and limited scope (just hex). Cons: Mid range alloy choice that seems appropriate for the cost. 3950 stainless would be so great that I would always use them. No max torque specs on the smaller bits, which seems silly to include a chart like that, but putting smaller bits on a wrench is good way to destroy the bit - it would be nice if a torque wrench would stop me before breaking the tool. ... show more

    • Nice kit but failed under torque
I used these to reach into a deep set allen bolt. The 1/4" hex snapped at 50 lbs. I was able to cut off the break area and still use the key but not the best quality tools.
