I was hesitant at first to buy a Gua Sha that wasn’t stone, because of all the supposed benefits of stone. But looking past that, the stainless steel is amazing. It stays cold, it’s easy to clean, and I don’t have to worry about mold building up inside. If you’re buying a Gua Sha for the sole purpose of getting a more defined face, then stainless steel would be a great choice for you. It’s sturdy and you don’t have to worry about it breaking if it accidentally drops. Also, if you’re planning on using this in the shower then definitely get stainless steel. You won’t have to worry about steam causing mold. And stainless steel stays cold. If I haven’t already expressed it: the material does not matter, what matters is a strict routine. No stone or steel will be more effective than the other in shaping your face. Without a doubt, the stones do have different properties that can be helpful for other aspects, but they all require a strict routine. This isn’t a one-week cure for a round face. This will take time and consistency. I’ve been using the stainless steel for six months now and there is definitely a difference. I probably would have seen more of a difference if I used it everyday. I absolutely love this tool. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks now and already seeing a huge improvement in my jawline. I wish I would have known about this years ago!!! It’s sturdy, glides easy on the skin and cleans up very well. Haven’t seen any tarnish or discoloration.

Loving it so far! I’m a beginner at Gua Sha and this seems like a good one to start with. I like the stainless steel for acne and it easy to clean. I would say it’s a little heavier than the stone options but I prefer that.

This is my personal favorite compared to my other face tools I’ve had in the past. I like that this has more of a weight to it vs the others where they’re more light. It glides very nicely on the skin and doesn’t tug or pull too harshly. Also it comes with a little cloth for you to wipe it down. I find it easy to clean after using it with product.
