    • Great Idea, Mediocre Execution
I want to like this, but it has two flaws that I just can't look past. The motor is plenty powerful, and it moves at a logical speed for its scale, the trailer is quite nice, and the animals and hay it comes with is sturdy, not easily broken. Problem #1: The controller does not have real joysticks for the controls, they are fake ones that activate push buttons, which you can tell by the distinctive click sound once you reach the extend of the "joy stick" travel. So its full power or no power, and its difficult for little hands to operate. Problem #2: The weight distribution of the toy is wrong, the back is too heavy. There isn't enough weight on the front, steer axles, so there is a delay with the steering. It works better on carpet, the taller the better, but on wood floors, the wheels almost slide when trying to turn. Its very visible, you can see it takes a second before it actually starts turning. When turning, one wheel often lifts off, causing more skidding, which equals less turning. You need almost a 4 foot radius circle to turn it completely around. I think if some weight was added to the front, that would fix the steering enough that it wouldn't be a problem. And no, adding the "loader" to the front doesn't fix it either. In fact, the loader is basically useless. It sits so low to the ground that it catches on stuff on the floor, even the edge of carpet, if going from hard floor to carpet. Great toy for young boys. Easy to operate and lots of accessories which is a good thing when you have 2 young boys trying to play with the same toy. Easy enough to distract one for a while with the trailer. It does come with everything shown. The loader doesn't work with the remote but at this price, I didn't expect it too. The animals and little farmer are cute. Lot's of fun for the boys. Love it. ... show more

This remote-controlled tractor is nice, but it’s not supper high quality. The tractor has one battery, and you need 2xAAA for the remote. I assumed the loader would also be remote-controlled, but it is not. The trailer is nice it will give the kids a way to haul things. The animals and bales are molded plastic. Overall, this isn’t bad for the price but a second battery along with the loader being remote-controlled would have been nice. ... show more

We enjoyed playing with the tractor toy this weekend! Our grandson (3) had a fun time with it. The RC function is easy to use, the attachments and trailer and animals... all big hits! He must have spent several hours per day playing with it. The vehicle battery is rechargeable, but the remote takes 2 x AAA. Lots of fun! ... show more

My son was thrilled to get this remote-control tractor. The speed is just right—not too fast, not too slow. Reversing with the trailer attached is a bit tricky, but that adds a fun challenge. The little driver figure is adorable, especially when he's driving down the hall with his hands in the air. The trailer is a highlight—it tips up as if it’s dumping, and the three sides fold down, which is really cool. If you push the sides down too far, the trailer starts to lift, but it’s not a big deal. It can carry hay or animals, and the removable fence part can even be used as a pen on the ground, which is a great feature. It comes with animals, a round hay bale, and five alfalfa pieces, just as shown. However, I'm giving it three stars because the front bucket attachment is the wrong one. The directions show a different version, and unfortunately, we got the "other" one, so the bucket can't be attached to this tractor, which was a big disappointment for my son. Also, the seat isn't screwed in, so it tends to fall out. So they did a great design on this....they just need to pack the box right. ... show more
