Straight forward install, pretty easy took about 30 minutes. Trimming was needed in order to not to rub with 9.5 wheels. I found out while driving, so take the time to fully lock both ways to make sure you don't rub.

The front were super easy to get on all the fittings and screws lined up perfectly. The rear was tricky there wasn’t enough room for me to fit my hand in there to attach them so I ended up having to remove my rear wheels putting on the mud flaps. Took a little longer then I was hoping but they look sharp and was worth it. ... show more

They were easy to install. The instructions are not that great, there is a youtube video that goes a little more indepth, still not great though. I could be wrong at this, but I feel like they could of made the front flaps go further under the car. This would of been awesome to help prevent snow and salt build up under the car. ... show more

I purchased the Rek Gen mud flaps for my 2018 Subaru WRX Premium because I love the way mud flaps look on rally cars, and that's why I bought them. But I also noticed that I had significant spray marks on my doors / rear quarter panels after driving in wet conditions. Not that the mud flaps are installed that's no longer a concern. They are very sturdy, even holding up after I entered a car wash with a propelling track. The corners of the mud flaps were bent out a little bit, but I corrected that by hand easily. The mounting hardware was not affected and kept the flaps firmly on the car. I won't make that mistake again, LOL. They were priced very well compared to similar products, and I was able to mount them without removing the tires. It was challenging, but it was not overly difficult. The plastic push in clips for the rear flaps were the most difficult part. I simply used handle of my screw driver to push them in by wedging it against the tire for leverage. Easy peasy after I figured that out. I would purchase these again with no hesitation. ... show more

I don't normally write reviews but I felt like I had to with this one. I will start with this was done in my garage, with wheels left on and semi-limited in tools. I am average with overall knowledge of car repair and add ons. Why I bought these- Advertised as easy install, only need one tool. Simple enough for me. By the end of the installation, I had half my toolbox out. Also does not come with instructions, just gives you a link. That link does not give you a full instruction guide, or really anywhere near it. When I received the package the L brackets on the rear flaps were protruding out of the box they were shipped in. After opening it up it was obvious A) shipped in the wrong box B) they know and don't care. Front Flaps- After watching the poor instruction youtube video and struggling with the first flap it was obvious there were important steps left out of the video. It doesn't even address the Push Pin on the bottom side of the vehicle. After I found different videos from other people, things started going smoothly. After both fronts were installed, they seemed to be pretty strong and sturdy. Beware that that pushpin on the underside can be an issue, I had to take a flat head to the inside and sheer it off to remove it. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THOSE PUSHPINS FOR LATER Rear- Surprised how easy it was to slip the metal bracket in between the plastic bumper and mold. again this is all from watching someone else's instructions. Now the hard and aggravating part is they give you a push pin receiver to secure the outer portion of the flap to the bumper. From the 3 different videos I watched, all 3 were different sizes. Mine was too short to reach through Flap- Bumper- Molding. I ended up using one of the front OEM pushpins that was removed to install the front flaps and it worked perfectly, for now. Summary- If I wasn't so hard-headed I would have returned these before I finished the first front install. After watching other installs, I would have gone with ones like RallyArmour if I had returned them. I may have just had a bad experience, but with something so simple as this I think it can be avoided with a much better in-depth install video. The media could not be loaded. They look great and have already scraped on done steep driveways. They haven't come off not have they lost want hardware. Installation was a little bit difficult as the plastic push pins on the rears were a little bit tough to get in, but once I was able to get everything correct fits like a glove it looks great. Can't wait to see how they perform in the winter ... show more
