TLDR: Pain to assemble, but worth purchasing. The units look good, fit the space, and are sturdy enough to hold my whole wardrobe so far (1 week after installation). Keep the instructions. Detailed review: I bought two for a medium-large closet with one extremely out-of-reach rod. The standing closet has rods at a good height for me, and the shelves are heavy/solid with a nice veneer pattern. The taller rod fits about 20 hangers. The shorter rod fits 30-35 hangers. I fit 5 pairs of women's size 7 shoes on the bottom shelf. YMMV depending on the hanger type, bulkiness of clothing, and shoe width. I'm 5'2" and not very strong, but I managed to assemble and move both of these into my closet on my own. You'll want a chair or a ladder to finish the top part. Make sure you set it up close to where you want it to be. It is totally feasible to lift it and move into place, but the final size and shape is unwieldy, and it's hard to identify the best place to grasp it. Assembly took maybe 2 hours for the first one and 1.5 hours for the second, but I am highly distractible and watched a show in the background. The parts look really similar, and the orientation of each bar is important, so it's easy to mix up. I accidentally put one piece on backwards at the start, but it didn't affect anything except which side the shelf would be on. I assembled it correctly the second time, and now the two units mirror each other, which is nice. They don't feel particularly stable while mid-assembly, as the rods will move around a little bit until the final steps. I put fit my whole wardrobe on 2 of these units, and they seem to be holding up after a week of regular use. Please note: I have very uneven floors. The unit itself is flat, and the screw-on foot pieces allow for small adjustments in height. I had to add some of the packaging for additional height on one side to adjust for the extreme slant of my flooring. I will bolt them to the wall with the included hardware as soon as I get a chance. You do NOT want to disassemble and reassemble these after you've removed the numbered stickers. Definitely keep the instructions in a safe place. ... show more

    • Really sturdy
I bought this for my martial arts equipment and it works really well. The equipment tends to be pretty heavy after practice with the sweat but the hanger rods hold our really well. I usually bundle my equipment into one piece so I can just hang it on one S-hook and the rod is pretty sturdy so they don't give out on the weight of the equipment (probably around 6-8lbs with sweat). It also has plentiful of space to put in other martial arts related stuff that the whole clothing rack just fits everything perfectly for me. I definitely never tested the limits but it probably definitely holds a lot of weight. Within reasonable, use, you'll probably have nothing to worry about when it comes to "overloading" this rack. ... show more

    • Nice, functional, but two things to know...
This is good value for the money. It is also a great size that is neither too small nor too large, and the two level hanging and shelves very functional! The unit is time consuming to assemble and you must pay very close attention to orienting the uprights properly or you'll have a problem when it comes time to install the cross braces. Even being aware of this after studying the diagrams, I ended up inadvertently reversing one and to had to partially disassemble the unit to correct. If the manufacturer simply color-coded the pieces in addition to numbering them, this would provide an easy visual that things are properly oriented. The other issue is that the longer hang rod is too weak. It needs to be a larger outside diameter and wall thickness so that it does not bend under the weight of the clothing. I understand the diameter was selected to match the tube steel frame, but it can be larger with heavier wall thickness and still match. Because I'm very tall and broad chested, my clothes are larger and heavier than the average person, but I weighed all of the shirts I hung on that rod with a luggage scale and the total weight is not even remotely close to the advertised capacity of the unit! It's not that it's going to fail in my case, but deflecting 3/4" is really obvious and makes the unit look cheap. When I have a free Saturday, I'm going to make new hang bars out of some scrap stainless tubing I have that's more robust. I need to change both to match since it sits in plain view and I cannot powdercoat. ... show more

High quality materials and simple instructions. They even send an actual screwdriver to attach the structure to the wall. Stickers removed easily and without residue. Everything is well labeled. The parts are labeled with numbers and the hardware is labeled with letters so there is no confusion. Solid construction and looks great. True to size and does exactly what it's supposed to do.
