I put this together about a week ago. Very well packaged, arrived fast and in excellent condition. Easy to assemble, until you get to putting the mechanism for the lift-top on. You really need a second person for that part. The only thing I can say that could be improved upon is the weight balance... If you don't have anything inside the table compartment, it gets a little tippy with a laptop on the lifted top.     • It's cheap and feels cheap, but looks decent and works very well.
This is for my grad school kid's apartment. Materials are not the top grades and little shaky opening and closing the top table. BUT looks very good in the one bed room apartment and solid enough when you use it as table. Just needs to be little careful opening and closing. So, the entire top of the coffee table began to just peel away. Mind you this table is for show of center pieces not actual use for cups, dishes, etc. I'm highly upset with the outcome, do I want to return it yes but then I'd have to disassemble & I don't have time for that so it'll stay & hope a touch up paint pen can hide the issues. ... show more

    • Not worth it. Lift top is flimsy and not safe.
The lift top table hardware is not safe, the transition from being low and then lifted up is like a spring. Dangerous if you have kids around, and messy if you have any food or drink on it. Unfortunately this was a waste of money for me as I have kids and was planning on using this table to work on and having coffee is a must for a coffee table. Amazon was able to help me with resolving my concerns but I would not recommend this brand to anyone if you actually want to utilize the lift top feature. ... show more
